Holiday rentals with a kayak in Flanders

Beautiful spacious cottage in a quiet area. Very cozy. Wonderful to stay with a good book.

We had a great stay in Ghent. Dieter was very generous with his time and energy - he went out of his way to lend us bicycles for our stay. He also had great recommendations for the area.

It was a tremendously pleasant and cozy accommodation. Everything we needed was present. We were 10 minutes from the city center, which was ideal to leave the car on the boat in the free parking. Breakfast was definitely sufficient and in order. We could eat this cozily in the sun on the private terrace in a very quiet area. Finally, Maarten himself was extremely hospitable and easily accessible. It was a very nice experience and definitely recommended.

Fantastic stay! The Airbnb was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The sauna and jacuzzi were an absolute added value and provided pure relaxation. The accommodation was clean, cozy and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The host was friendly and responded quickly to questions. Definitely recommended for those looking for peace and luxury!

Already upon arrival late in the evening we felt welcomed and the path to the house was illuminated with romantic lights blowing back and forth in the wind. We felt all our stress falling away from us. The house was tastefully decorated with good choice of different materials. A tiled stove provides the necessary warmth on cold nights. We had ordered a bread package for breakfast. A yoga mat was also provided, so the day could be started with momentum. We didn't miss anything!

Had a wonderful night, the boat has all the comforts and you can walk into the center of Ghent in no time. Very nice bed and the host is very friendly!

highly recommended! Extensive cooking and eating with 11 people is less convenient but some snacks and breakfast are definitely possible. It was clean and within walking distance of the city center and the train

Have stayed here before, and will hopefully get the opportunity to again. We are Americans here for cycling and exploring. This is our favorite cycling get away with the classic bergs, endless carriage roads, and safety. Other cyclists and even some pros stay here on camps and around de ronde. This is a cyclist dream. I could not be happier with the experience with Brigitte and great communication. Walking to Centrum is easy. We recommend MonkeyBar, De Priorij van Elsegem, Martiko, and Pizzeria Peppe as great restaurants a close walk by. Just next door, the people at Pink Panther pub were very friendly for a pre-dinner drink. Jone koffiebar and Rogge are great for espresso and a pastry, as well as the Centrum de ronde. The town of Oudenaarde is full of very kind people. Many know English and those who do not have been patient and accommodating. The short drive to Ghent to visit Gravensteen and castle area is also well worth it. Don’t stay home. Too much to see. Get out ther
