Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Fishhook

Shawn and Victoria are some of the most gracious hosts we have encountered yet and we stay in a lot of these short term rentals. The space looks brand new, is well kept and super clean. It is rare that the actual living space looked better than the photos. I was there to help take care of my 1 yo granddaughter while my DIL delivered grand baby #2. They asked if the noise from any of the construction work was too loud as they didn’t want to disturb her if she was napping. (Their property looks new and they are finishing the final touches it seems). The location is 10 minutes to Palmer or the main area of Wasilla, so easy access to anything you need. Highly recommend their space if you are looking for a modern but comfortable home near Wasilla.

Heather's place was perfect! My husband and I were there with our twin 3 year olds, my sister in law and my mother in law, who has mobility challenges. This house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, everything was brand new and high end. The kids toys kept the boys busy and my mother in law really appreciated the handicapped accessibility. Perfect kitchen for cooking dinner for the family and the fireplaces, soaking tub and hot tub really helped make it a relaxing vacation. Absolutely no complaints here, what a great find!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The kitchen was fully loaded with appliances, cookware, and utensils, making it perfect for preparing meals. The bathroom was also top-notch, with a clean and well-stocked toilet, complete with plush towels and toiletries. The location was ideal quiet, and the host was friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay

The home is absolutely amazing. Our only issue is this was our 1st AirBnB stay and it set the standard extremely high and probably impossible for any property after this to meet. We arrived after 18+ hours traveling with 3 kids. We were exhausted and hungry. The counter was filled with snacks, fridge/cabinet filled with all condiment/cooking staples. We had waffle mix, butter and syrup for breakfast, plenty of water to drink. The place is quiet, private and spacious. It was the perfect place to start to our vacation for 3 nights!

Enjoyed our stay at this Alaskan retreat. It was a perfect pit stop for our family to recharge before heading back home after a cruise. The views were amazing and accommodations were super comfortable and cozy. Lots of space and amenities. Felt private and secluded but also close to lots of shopping and dining.

Beautiful & peaceful! Immaculately clean. Favorite thing was coffee on the deck to the sound of Willow Creek and the easy access up Hatcher Pass from the Willow side.

I loved the cabin! Although a little snag happened and the main place was double booked, we got put in a cabin that I think I enjoyed more! Billie Jo is super helpful and offered great suggestions for local things to do. The pup Marcus was a wonderful joy visiting us during our fire and while sitting on the porch. We had everything we needed and an awesome view to end our evening. I would recommend any of Billie Jo’s cabins to someone looking to be close to town but also have a relaxing getaway.

This was such a peaceful place to stay with amazing views. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean!

You immediately feel at home in this lovely cottage apartment. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. A wonderful host who makes everything super easy for you. It’s simple; stay here.

No complaints. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of useful condiments. Having the extra toiletries was very nice. Great location between Anchorage and Wasilla. Both Jeff and his wife were friendly and so very nice to meet.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

Apartment was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Brandy and her husband were friendly and answered any questions we had. The parking was right in front of the door which was great for my wife who walks with a cane. It was also nice being able to park under a carport which came in handy when it was raining the day we were loading our truck to leave.

Wonderful condo located in downtown Anchorage that was just as advertised, extremely clean and well taken care of and the communication made it easy to check-in and out and had all the amenities that were expected. Great host!

Beautiful stay, so homey and private. Amazing views. Grace and Colton were so great and quick to respond when needed. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place! it was immaculate and very comfortable. The view we had of the lake was wonderful. We enjoyed seeing the float planes taking off from the lake. We got to meet the hosts and they couldn't have been nicer. Annabelle was always prompt in answering any questions we had. There is no other place we will stay next time we visit our son and family in Wasilla. You can't go wrong with this place. Thank you Annabelle!

If you're looking for a place close to Anchorage, I wouldn't recommend any other place than Velia's. She is an awesome host, and so is her place.

Jeff took our impromptu reservation and we are grateful for the space. No issues with the rental whatsoever! would definitely rent again.

This was my second time staying at Luke’s Airbnb, and it was just as wonderful and perfectly stocked as I remembered it. Luke is always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I loved waking up to the beautiful mountain view’s, and ending the night with the fire pit in the back was just the cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wasilla.

Devon was so accommodating and communicative. My family appreciated the level of cleanliness and convenience of the amenities!
