Holiday rentals with lake access in Fife

We had a fantastic weekend staying here to celebrate my best friend. The house is gorgeous with so much space! The photos do not do it justice! There was a lovely pool and hot tub. Sarah came by to make sure we’d settled in and was available if we needed anything. We’d even got a later check out which was a great bonus. Everyone had a great time! I will definitely recommend booking The Granary! I would love to come back for another trip. Sarah had also left us a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us which was a lovely touch we appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very beautiful place

This was a stunning Airbnb. Feda made the entire experience amazing from beginning to end. If you are looking for a place that offers you a peaceful setting to unwind and get away, this is the right place for you. If you are looking to go from castle to castle in the surrounding areas, this place is for you with its convenient proximity to many nearby castles, gardens, towns, and cities. Also, as an incredible added bonus, all meals are covered, so you don't even have to think about cooking or eating out at yet another restaurant. Feda makes incredible food and even offers cooking classes, which we did not have enough time to take part in, maybe next time. All of these amazing things, plus you will be staying in a remodled, 250 year old mansion. This place was absolutely stunning in every way and the service was absolutely top notch. Feda has something truly special here and I highly, highly recommend this place to any other fellow traveler. We felt like we were in a 5-star hotel.

Feda has done a marvelous job of creating a comfortable, elegant, beautiful, and serene home to share with visitors. There is indeed something magical about being on a 250-year-old country estate with all the modern comforta and conveniences. Her taste and imagination in furnishing and decorating are superb. Our brief visit didn't allow us to fully appreciate the library and the many snug places to relax with tea and a book, or to simply gaze out the windows and daydream. The grounds and surrounding countryside offer great opportunities for rambling, listening to bird songs, and observing wildlife. During an evening walk and picnic, we spotted a doe with her fawn, a Grey Heron, Pheasants, and other birds. Our cozy room was quiet and comfortable, with many thoughful small extras - toiletries, tea, fresh fruit, ... Spend a little time with the big coffee table book in the library, and ask Feda about the story behind it. (She's the author.)

Merveilleux séjour de deux nuitées chez des hôtes très accueillants et très amicaux. Comme si nous nous connaissions depuis toujours. Discrets. Toujours aux petits soins pour nous. L'agencement de la maison nous laisse pour autant chacun notre intimité. L'espace déjeuner attribué est très bien organisé, bien approvisionné et avec tout le nécessaire à disposition. Les lits sont très confortables et la salle de bain très propre. Nous avons dormi comme des bébés. Le petit village de Kinross nous a permis de rayonner sur les environs aisément. Nous recommandons ce logement à deux cent pour cent.

Fantastic location and very easy to find just off M90. Lindsay sent comprehensive instructions on receipt of booking and was present to check us in and explain how everything worked. Lindsay and Frances are amazing hosts. The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable had 3 great nights sleep. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and fridge which Lindsay kindly stocked with butter, milk, cheese, ham, yoghurts. Also bread, cereal, biscuits and snacks so you will not go hungry. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay at lodge number 85, easy check-in, beautiful Lodge, loved the hot tub. On the Saturday we had an issue with the hot tub but quick response on the messenger & someone was out and had it fixed, great customer service. Will absolutely recommend & can't wait to return! Thanks for a great stay.

Good location for exploring Perth. Handy couple of local stores. Property very clean and well furnished. Great communication from host and some nice touches.

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in de cottage. In de buurt zijn mooie locaties te bezoeken zoals Elie Harbour, St Andrews & de Fish Merchants. Bij het huisje konden we met de kinderen heerlijk poolen en darten. De sauna was ook echt een traktatie!

Myself and 2 friends just had a brilliant weekend at Dawn and Darren’s cottage. They were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, the decor was lovely and we’ll definitely be back for another stay. Hopefully later this year! Thank you Dawn and Darren.

Secluded and peaceful cottage, which was perfect for a getaway for us (6 adults). Location is within easy reach of some beautiful locations such as Elie, Bowhouse market, and Anstruther. House was clean, tidy, spacious and with plenty of towels. Helpful guide was shared in advance. Thanks!

Really enjoyed our stay in Pittenweem. Cathy’s cottage was compact, but had everything we needed to have a great weekend away. Beautifully decorated, well located to the harbour and costal path, and very much a home away from home. Would happily return.
