It is centrally situated, and a perfect base for visiting many places of interest including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Pitlochry, Gleneagles, St Andrews, Perth and Dundee. Also, locally, the East Neuk, Falkland and Kinross on the banks of lovely Loch Leven offer many attractions and are well worth a visit.

Short walk to beach front and a beautiful harbour as well as Fife Coastal Path. Has a lovely pottery shop where items are made on the premises. If you don't feel like cooking Crail has a good fish and chip shop. Pubs & grocery shops near by. Everything is within walking distance form the house.

This is Muma Bears house and it always will be. She was my Mother and this is what me and my girls always called her. She passed in June 2021 and i have spent the last year renovating her house. She was a force and i hope we have done her proud. I want the house to come alive. So welcome! Cosy up in front of the fire, play the piano and unwind in peace. Bring along your slippers. Ashtrees Cottage is in a beautiful rural location and has Loch Leven Nature Reserve on its door step. The Balgedie Toll Tavern & Levens Larder both less than 10 minutes walk from the Cottage. Its a great place to explore towns and villages around the East Neuk of Fife, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow all within 60 minute drive. Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.

Shiel House, Rumbling Bridge

Set in 3 acres of gardens and with beautiful views of the valley, Shiel House is the perfect retreat. This bespoke house was built by our family to provide an escape from the city and it has been furnished to provide a comfortable home from home. It would suit solo adventurers, couples, families (with kids), and big groups. Only an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and St Andrews, it is also the ideal base for golfers, walkers and visitors to Scotland.

The Annexe is a bright, two-bedroomed house attached to the main farmhouse. It is self-contained with it’s own parking and garden areas. The property has been completely re-wired, re-plumbed and re-decorated with new beds, kitchen and bathroom. This a convenient rental for guests attending an event in The Cow Shed at Sypsies Farm. We are roughly 300m away along the farm track.
