Holiday rentals with lake access in Fenland District

Lauren was great from the very start, her communication was great and made sure we felt very at home. Place was very clean, very comfy bed and the shower was lovely too. The place had everything we could have thought of and was very well equipped. Perfect for the dog as the whole outside is gated and gives the dog enough space to have a walk around. Would highly recommend!! Thank you Lauren 😀

beautiful surroundings, extremely clean and fresh cottage, equipped with everything needed for a great stay. hosts Dave and Sue are lovely people extremely friendly and welcoming. fresh bread and little Easter eggs were a lovely arrival gift. was great to sit by the river surrounded by wildlife and a beautiful private garden and patio area. deffently would stay again. thankyou to Dave and Sue for making our Easter weekend a great getaway.

Stayed here for two nights while attending a friends wedding nearby. Great location also for some bird watching around Rutland Water, especially the Ospreys at Lyndon. Accommodation was perfect, set in a beautiful walled garden. We had everything we needed and the place was pristine. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Really great property, highly recommend

This lodge is fabulous, on the waterfront, with kayaks in a marina development. The interior is beautifully finished and lots of helpful accessories provided saving hassle - bin liners, dishwashwr tablets etc. The bbq and firepit were favourites of mine, made it seem like the great parts of a camping trip, getting away from it all and fun downtime but with 5* accomodation for comfort. A lot of care has gone into the design and presentation of the home including a beautifully planted garden.

We loved our stay at the cottage, it was so cosy and we felt right at home. It was exactly as described, very peaceful surroundings and Charlotte left some great recommendations for us.

Wow, what can I say. This beautiful little gem of a place is just so fabulous. Situated in a tiny village ( one pub and general store) you get to appreciate the space and quiet around you. The house has a fabulous garden to relax in, with a lovely decked eating area. Very dog friendly too ( my spaniel loved the garden) The accommodation was clean, stylish and cosy. The bed was super comfy and the mezzanine gave a different view of the chapel. Cressida was always available and responsive, giving recommendations for places to eat. However, kings Lynn is just down the road ( by car) and there’s plenty to do there plus all supermarkets etc. just such a fabulous stay. I’m looking forward to coming again in the autumn months, so I can light that lovely coal fire. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything we needed and more ❤️

We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing but which is situated in a great location for visiting kings Lynn, and the North Norfolk coast. The master bedroom and bathroom is situated on the ground level so this worked well for us as our teenagers had the mezzanine level. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the annexe is at the bottom of the owners garden with views into the woods. Great for dog walking and the lake is a 10 minute walk. Comfy beds and a hot good size shower. We appreciated the little extras, eg cereals, milk, dog treats and blankets for the sofa. Thank you Lorraine for being such an accommodating host. I am really sorry that we forgot to remove the dog poo from the garden 🙈

This was booked for my son and his wife. They were greeted on arrival by Cecille, and parking was secure and exclusive. They loved the location, especially the peace and quiet , and as gate took them straight to the water at Rutland. Its was also 5 mins from a lovely pub with food.

Tucked away in the embrace of the countryside, this Birds’ Nest is nothing short of a dream. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the soothing sounds of birdsong, the rhythmic tap of a woodpecker, and the view across the fields where lambs played . Mark, ever dedicated to his home, was mowing the extensive lawn, before walking the dogs across the fields. Meanwhile, Sarah welcomed us and guided us through the mudroom to the Bird’s Nest, which exudes both tranquility and spaciousness--but it was the view that most caught our eye. This place brims with authenticity, outdoorness, and space. If you’re lucky, you might see a fox or a hang glider. Our visit here was not simply a stay, but an experience: one of peace, comfort, and timelessness.

Been stay there for a month and felt amazing. Location is really great in town center right opposite the shopping mall. 5 mins drive to Train Station Many Supermarkets and Convenience Stores nearby Amazing flats, environment is good neighbour is super nice. Everything is perfect The Apartment is great and clean, much better than I expected. The host was super nice!! Any problem with the flat the host will help you asap. Would recommend this stay 👍🏼

I went there with my wife for her birthday and spent a couple of nights. The place is very serene. Apartment is impeccable and felt like home. The spa staff is awesome. They even helped me plan a surprise for my wife. The host is also very helpful and responsive.

Mo's place was perfect. The location was ideal and the flat was very clean and tidy. There were far more equipment than stated so great to see a fully stocked kitchen with utensils and cleaning products. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an absolutely lovely stay for a couple of nights in Cambridge. The house was really comfortable and modern with the bonus of a parking space which is really helpful in a city like Cambridge. The walk into town was easy and there are lots of buses if you get tired. We really enjoyed meeting up with family and friends in town and combined a bit of shopping and wandering round the market with lots of eating and drinking! Heidi was an amazing host and always flexible, friendly and helpful with us. It's one of our best Air BNB experiences. Thank you for helping us to have such a lovely weekend break. We would all definately love to come back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Apartment. Sarah was incredibly welcoming, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had such a cozy atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home! Great location with easy travel to areas such as Hunstanton, Wells next to the sea, Holt and Cromer. Lovely cottage that is well equipped, clean and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Easy walking distance into Fakenham and the village Hempton is a great place to bring dogs.

We stayed at forestry cottage for the weekend for my mums 70th birthday. The cottage was so homely and comfortable and a really good size for 7 people. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive, little touches like doggy treats and supplies (we bought our family dog) and balloons, party poppers and a happy birthday banner was left for my mum which was a really nice touch! The cottage is set in the most beautiful/peaceful place with decent walks around the lake. All in all we had a very lovely stay, would 100% recommend.

Truly a great place to stay for a couple of days with a family of 4. It’s clean, fully equiped, there is enough space and the area is very quiet. From here it is very easy to take a day trip to London or Cambridge.
