Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Scheiche House, a detached house in the beautiful Vogelsberg volcanic region. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a residential building, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and led a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided it was impossible without guests! We have always dreamed of renovating the old barn of our house – and now it was the right time.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. Our apartment is in a quiet location directly in Romrod. Romrod Castle is a 10-minute walk away. Good highway connection to the A5 The apartment is equipped with a bedroom (double bed) It also contains the flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. The apartment is on the ground floor, has a separate entrance and very pleasant temperatures in the apartment even in the summer.
