Large, modern cabin in a great mountain area on Gålå

Bring the whole family to this unique cabin with great nature experiences in summer and winter! The cabin is located at about 900 meters above sea level with a large natural plot and with a lovely view over Gålåvannet. The plot is 1500 sqm and borders hiking terrain and hiking trail, well suited for the whole family. In winter, there are groomed ski slopes nearby and you can strap on your skis outside the cabin. Easy access by car. The cabin is well equipped and contains a living room/kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, sauna, loft/TV room, sports shed and interior shed.

There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. New, modern annex with panoramic views of Jotunheimen and Gålåvatnet. (30 sqm) Free parking Only a 5-minute drive to: Groceries (7 am–11 pm), sports shop, Gålåvatnet, Gålå Alpin & Aktiv, Høyt & Lavt climbing park, Peer Gynt Arena (theatre), cafes, Peer Gynt stadium with roller ski slope and floodlit slope (artificial snow from the last weekend in November). As well as 230 (630) km of prepared cross-country ski trails. Cross-country ski in/out. Only 300 metres from the cabin, you enter the cross-country ski trail network. (From around mid-December)

Experience lovely nature at cozy farmhouse! The cabin is located on the outskirts of the forest overlooking the entire Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

Strap on your skis right outside the cabin wall, or get on your bike for miles of hiking opportunities. We also have a canoe for free use on the nearby Årvillingen. After the trip you can relax in the delicious sauna. The cabin is spacious, well-maintained and contains everything you need for unforgettable days in one of Norway's finest mountain areas in Rondane National Park.

Viking farm, Sygard Listad. King Olav stayed 1021.

Welcome to the Viking farm Sygard Listad. Here you live on historic grounds. The Viking king Olav the Holy lived here in 1021, to prepare the battle against the king of Gudbrandsdalen. This happened during the Christianization of Norway. On the farm you will find the holy well "Olavskilden". Driving distance to Oslo is 250 km and the same to Trondheim. Here you can go skiing in Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, Jotunheimen National Park or Rondane. In summer you can see Peer Gynt, go on a musk ox safari or a day trip to Geiranger.

Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Idyllic old farmhouse in a scenic area in the middle of Peer Gynt's kingdom. A unique place near Rondane and a hiking eldorado with high mountains and short distance to several fishing waters. This is an undeveloped, old mountain farm where you can really find peace and quiet and recharge your batteries. The farm has a large fenced area where both children and four-legged friends can roam freely.

Only the used wood should be replenished at the end of the vacation.
