Skipperhuset

Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The skipper house was built in 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in spring 2021. In collaboration with the local paint company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and aisle with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is walled in with the brewery house that has renovated the baking oven.

The area offers a distinctive natural landscape with great beaches and hiking areas, and a raw nature for fishing and bird lovers. This is also an eldorado for surfing and kiting. The house is close to Borhaug, in 5 minutes walking distance to Nordhasselvika - highlighted by The Guardian as one of the top 20 most beautiful 'hidden beach gems' in Europe.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Skipperhuset is cozy and south-facing in idyllic Eikvåg - an old sailing port - and is almost 300 years old. The house is completely renovated, and is located right on the waterfront. Bathing stairs make it easy to swim and engage in water activities. There are deep water docks where larger boats can easily dock. At the end of the jetty there is a slate paving with dining area and fire pit/grill, while at the other end there is a fenced rose garden with seating.

We rent out our funkish house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has high standards. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom attached to this bedroom. Outside, a large terrace with a lot of living space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

You will have access to the entire main floor. The main floor, 2 floors, contains living room, kitchen, hallway, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a small toilet. The house is very cozy and overlooks the beautiful village of Rasvåg and over the sea. There is a very rich outdoor area with several terraces and gardens as well as fruit trees behind the house.

(one cot) The house is rural and secluded, within walking distance to Lista lighthouse, Lista bird station, some of Norway's best surf spots and miles of beaches. In the garden, there are several cozy seating areas and plenty of sun during the summer months. Exterior sink and counter space for slicing fish. Stand for putting down surfboards and hanging wetsuits to dry.

Her er det mange sjarmerende øyer som er tilrettelagt for båtliv. Området er perfekt for fiske, bading i fjorden, turer og avslapning. Har to båter for utleie. A short drive, then you come to Ulgjellsvannet, which is a nice bathing water. The house is an older house that has recently been renovated up to a good standard.
