Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Nice patio and views inside/outside of the sea to the west. Nature is right outside, just 200 m to the Lista coastal trail and the sea. Walking distance to great beaches (Bausje/Bispen), playgrounds and restaurant/pub. 2 km to a local store and food stands in the harbor at Borhaug. 3 km to Lista Lighthouse. If you bring a fishing rod or a surfboard, there are great opportunities nearby.

On the ground floor, you will find a hallway, laundry room, bathroom, TV lounge with a sofa bed, and 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room. On the 2nd floor, there is a large kitchen and living room with a dining area and a TV area, as well as a master bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom. Large terrace with several seating areas, jacuzzi, fire pit and great views. Perfect for families or friends who want a comfortable stay near the sea and nature.

Cozy apartment in Rasvåg on Hidra, which is located right on the beach and has a jetty with swimming and fishing opportunities just outside the door. With southern idyll and great nature on all sides, it is a perfect place for relaxation and excursions. Fenced garden towards the lake and road, so small children can play freely. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

Welcome to our charming and cozy sea cottage – perfect for vacationing with family or friends! The cabin is located directly by the sea and has great views and proximity to nature. It has 2 small bedrooms and a large loft with low ceilings. There are 8 beds in total. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, cozy living room and sunny patios with barbecues. Boat rentals nearby, can be moored at the dock. We'll consider all requests manually – feel free to tell us a bit about who you are.

The holiday home is located on a hill, about 100 metres above sea level. By the sea, you can swim and fish. The holiday home is sunny from early morning to late evening. This is the place for memories that last – whether you come with family, friends or just want a peaceful break from everyday life. Parking right at the cabin.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. The traditional Longhouse has found new form and function in an impressive modern architecture which makes this place a unique retreat nature loving families, and groups. Right outside there is a sauna with a magic view.

Welcome to sunny and idyllic "Knatten" An architect-designed cabin in a secluded location by the lake with beautiful views over Egelandsfjorden with great fishing and swimming opportunities. The cabin is fully furnished and contains most of what you need to have a great stay including a Weber gas grill on the sunny terrace. 2 bedrooms in total with beds for 7 people+ (possibility of extra mattresses). Cozy annex with bedroom and master bedroom with double bed and loft bed in the cabin.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern, high-standard cabin! This is our family cabin, which we use as often as we can, but we’re happy to share it when we’re not there. The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, take a step back and relax in our luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Amazing views of fjords and mountains

A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.
