Beautiful home and location. Quiet and private! We were attending a wedding in Shelby and it was very convenient to the venue, without all the hassle of traffic. We were ably to enjoy the fire pit one night and it was so relaxing. I hope we can come again and just enjoy the home and surroundings for a time to unplug!

Lovely home and hosts. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts will make sure you feel at home and supported as needed. The house was very clean and looked as-listed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

This airbnb is only 4 miles away from The Barn at Blue Sky Farm which is why I chose it to stay while attending a family wedding at that location. It is clean and very peaceful. Church bells play faintly off in the distance mid morning. Full kitchen with oven, stove and full sized fridge for anyone that wants to cook any meals. The guest is able to turn on either AC or heat and set the temperature. With the weather in the 70s during my stay I found AC in the late afternoon kept it comfortable and having the window and doors open earlier in the day rather than AC was best. I didn't meet the hosts, but it was easy to access the unit on my own. As parking is under the large deck, the car stays shaded and cool. There is a nice clothing rack and hangers to hang up your formal wear if you are a wedding guest! I'm really glad I chose this location to stay at for the wedding and would recommend it.

Beautiful historic home that was a short walk to downtown Shelby. My family and I enjoyed our stay.
