Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Falls Lake

We had such a wonderful stay! The home was incredibly cozy—one of those places that instantly makes you feel at ease. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, clean, and welcoming. The area was just as lovely—peaceful, safe, and close to everything we needed, yet still felt like a perfect little retreat. The cozy living room to quiet evenings winding down, the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. You can tell a lot of love and care went into creating a great experience for guests. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Our stay at Amanda’s place was short but sweet! We really enjoyed how cozy this house was. We came down to bring our kids to the Museum of Life and Science and the house was only 4 minutes away from the museum. The location was great and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. We were provided with plenty of towels and everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay and very accommodating considering our stay was last minute. We will definitely stay again when coming back to the area!

This is my third time staying at this property and I can’t say enough good things about it. My friends and I love the cozy atmosphere, location, and wonderful backyard area. Always a pleasure getting the opportunity to relax here!

I needed a quiet escape after a death in my family, and Erin’s place checked all the boxes. The home was clean and cozy. I highly recommend if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge away from it all.

Overall a nice little spot, location was good proximity wise to the city and other stuff. The neighbors are quite close on both sides so not the most private but didn’t bother us. Would stay again !!

The Blue House was perfect for our family and our first visit to Cary! Centrally located and so walkable to many fun attractions! If you are there on a Saturday heck out the farmers market! The house was pure perfection from the layout to the consideration of having coffee for us to use! So clean and dog friendly and had lots of great amenities. We will be back! Thank you Christian!

Felt right at home here, pays attention to details to supply everything you might need. Peaceful location and driving distance within 10-15mins of popular restaurants/bars. Cass was very responsive and helpful for any needs. Wish we would have brought our dogs they would have loved all the touches for fur babies.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back sometime! The home looks just like the pictures and is very well stocked. There were lots of clean towels and every bed had four pillows. The walk to the dock is short but is quite steep with stairs. We didn't encounter anyone during our weekend trip, but it does appear that it may be a shared dock as the path connects to another home. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. Coffee, cream (shelf stable) and sugar were also provided. The bed was comfy, and the dedicated AC unit for the main bedroom was really nice to have. As this place is right by the lake, you should be prepared for some spiders and bugs. We didn't see anything big inside, but the kayaks had quite a few in and on them. Once we cleaned them up, we really enjoyed going out on the lake for a couple hours.

Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

Great spot to stay. Very close to downtown. I was taking Lime scooters in to a conference and was there in 5-10 minutes. Apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures

I loved everything about Jeanette's tiny house AirBnB. I felt inspired to have stayed there for three nights. I got a lot of work accomplished for my clients while staying there. As well as now feeling rested and ready for the next leg of my journey. Even the exterior and interiordesign of this tiny house inspired me. I hope one day I'll be able to design and build something that evokes the same feeling of spaciousness in such a small space—perhaps as a studio for my creative projects that might also double as a place where my visitors might stay. Highly recommended!

Eight of us rented this house for a book club 20th anniversary celebration. It is an older building, but has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The kitchen was well-equipped, including basic supplies and the entire place was immaculate. I believe this is the first Airbnb I have rented that had enough towels for everyone. It also had a lovely back porch for morning coffee and adequate parking. The owners answered any questions almost immediately in addition to providing detailed information about the house and Durham on their Airbnb page. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Durham.

We stayed in this little piece of paradise while visiting family. It was exactly what we needed. The home was beautiful and farm was so peaceful. We will definitely use this home again for further visits.

We were happy to find this rental on a busy graduation weekend. The place is beautiful and clean with all the essentials. Most important to me-- the bed was a super comfy king with great linens. The bathroom and kitchen were also great and the location was quiet, in a transitional neighborhood. Some places renovated, some awaiting a re-do. The entrance is at the rear of the house and feels safe and private.

Beautiful brand new apartment. Enjoyed the pool, gym and game area within the apartment building. The WiFi was a little spotty so you may have to use your own hotspot. But there are restaurants, shops, duck pin bowling downstairs and rock climbing with more shops and restaurants to come! All within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to visiting again.

Cozy, peaceful, idyllic, and serene escape. We loved it! Our dog loved it too; sorry that she barked at the horses constantly. We really enjoyed all the extra snacks too.!

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

We stayed at the lake house while in town for my daughter’s wedding a few miles away. We have already talked about wanting to come back and enjoy the lake more than we were able to. The house was very clean and in a peaceful, private location. I would highly recommend.

If I could give this property and management 10 stars I would! The house Is quaint and surrounded by trees. It has two large screened porches with plenty of seating. It is the epitome of peacefulness. You feel like you are alone in the woods but you are only 5 or 10 minutes from everything!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful. They are really kind people. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful home, peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, for our family. Our boys enjoyed the fishing, using the kayaks, and fire pit. The chickens were very entertaining! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely plan another trip! Many thanks to the host!

It was a better stay than we could have expected! Such a great price too! We had a blast and it was so very relaxing. The home had all we needed for a relaxing and fun filled family adventure.
