Waterfront holiday rentals in Fairfax County

Driving back from the funeral of a favorite Uncle and dealing with family drama my soul was craving peace, comfort and a respite from everything for a bit. I found that respite in this Air BnB. The river view was blissful and everything was as described, no hassle and no surprises. Here are some things that I hope the reader finds helpful. 1) You can get the keys from the back porch entrance but bring your luggage up thru the carport door or the front don't try to bring your luggage up that spiral staircase. 2) Bring any silverware you may need and a coffee stirrer 3) The device to the side of the bed IS NOT THE AC CONTROL, lol it is the sleep number bed remote. Check that both sides are set to the same setting before getting into bed. Fun fact: Another guest must have thought it would be funny to switch one side on high and the other side on low. The bed sags on one side if you do that. It was so peaceful, I loved it. She couldn't have been more sweet and delightful.

This location was unbelievable, right in the heart of Georgetown, a safe and beautiful neighborhood! It was moments to all of the sites in Washington DC. Lodi was a great communicator, and helped me figure out parking.

Very happy with my stay! Amy is an amazing host! Explained all the check in instructions very well. Quick to respond and make sure I had everything I needed. Everything was as described very clean, well stocked & comfortable :) the location is great very quiet & beautiful surroundings. Happy with my stay & will definitely be booking in the future again.

We had a wonderful stay at Erika’s place! She was a great host — very welcoming and thoughtful. The apartment had a stunning view that we really enjoyed, and it was clean and comfortable throughout. We also appreciated the extra touches like the stocked fridge and cupboard essentials, which made our stay even more convenient. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we’d be happy to come back!

Absolutely one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. And we have stayed in a lot! Perfect location in charming Old Town. Lovely gracious townhouse. We arrived to a whistle clean house. Beautifully appointed. Fabulous linens on the beds. Each bed had a multi pronged phone charger on the night stand. A water carafe. Hamilton had set a beautiful dining table for us. It was these touches that shows how much Hamilton understands about having a top notch airbnb. I would absolutely recommend this airbnb. We look forward to staying there again! The place is sunny and bright. Two blocks to the water. Walking Old Town is delightful. You will not be disappointed!

The host responded so fast and he was helpful, the place is amazing and match the description. We loved for real. Even when we had storm and all the city wa out of power he responded to us and helped us to return our money to get other place

host was extremely proactive and gave us plenty of information before checking in. they followed up with us the day after to ensure everything was satisfactory. tea, coffee, fully equipped kitchen, laundry soaps and bathroom soaps. house was clean and looked just like the photos. walkable to all the great shops and restaurants, quick drive to all the other local things we wanted to do in dc and georgetown. overall great stay.

A+++ Host Great location Fun house I misunderstood and thought there were four bedrooms instead of three bedrooms with a ballroom that could be turned into a bedroom but didn’t have a door. Nevertheless, we were wonderfully comfortable and we had a fantastic host.

We loved this home! The location can’t be beat! A 5 min walk to the heart of Georgetown. The views of the river were spectacular. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit, roasting marshmallows. The inside of the home was better than the pictures showed. Especially the second floor living room/bar! Straight out of of a design magazine. The beds were comfortable and had high quality linens. The bathrooms were beautiful. The balconies on each floor allowed fantastic views of the river. You can even see the monuments lit up in the distance. This home deserves to be a guest favorite! We would definitely stay here again!
