My stay at Mountain and Peace was exactly what the name promises—pure peace in the mountains! Tucked away from the crowded parts of Shimla, this place offers stunning views, clean air, and a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property was well-maintained, the room was clean and spacious, and all amenities were in place. What I really appreciated was the hospitality-the hosts were warm, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping tea with a panoramic view of the hills was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a serene and scenic stay in Shimla, away from the chaos but still well-connected.

We had a great stay at Deepak’s place in shimla. The property is well-built with peaceful surroundings. Deepak as host is extremely welcoming and helped us throughout our stay. He guided us all through the way before check-in, provided suggestions on places to visit in and around shimla and also provided good home-cooked food. He is very nice host and made our stay a memorable one. Property is clean and spacious for 4 people with nice view of the valley as well. Also, there is sitting area at the terrace. There is parking space as well.

The stay was really pleasant. A fully functional bnb with the best view. The house was close to the mall road yet away from the hustle bustle. If one wants to spend some peaceful time with friends or family, this is the place to be. Anjali is an amazing host and helps you with everything that's important. The house caretaker Bishamberji was really helpful. It was an excellent experience.

I loved the stay at Ruchika's place, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, you can walk on the rails to reach the city centre. The house is super cozy and furnished with all the necessary amenities. The terrace is the part I love the most, you can admire the view of the mountains and you can witness the train passing by. The host is so kind and takes very good care of their guests.

Amber Vista Homestay gave me and my family an unforgettable experience. Right from when we arrived, our host Tribhun Bhardwaj was so welcoming and attentive, making sure every part of our stay was great. The food was amazing, with a variety of local dishes that really added to the whole experience. Every meal felt like a taste of the region and was delicious. But the absolute highlight was the stunning mountain view. Waking up to that incredible sight every morning was something we’ll never forget, it was magical. Amber Vista is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway. Whether you’re after relaxing, enjoying the scenery, or experiencing the local culture, this place has it all. It was a wonderful stay at Pranav's place. The apartment was spic and span. the kitchen was sparkling clean. Both the washrooms were very clean and neither of them have even a faint whiff of any odour. Pranav himself was very helpful and very prompt with all help. Both the bedrooms are large with huge bay windows looking onto the mountains and the valleys, presenting a lovely view. The balcony can sit 2 persons comfortably and is accessible via both the bedrooms. All in all, it was a great time spent at this property. Additional info for new guests: The last 50 metres or so to the property is a little steep. Although manoeuvring our sedan wasn't a huge challenge but since it was raining I was a little worried about the tyres getting adequate traction on the turn just 10 metres from the property. Also, note that it is a 3 floor house. We stayed on the 1st floor. Ground floor was occupied by other guests but that did not intrude into our privacy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained and fully furnished apartment in Shimla. The place was exactly as shown in the photos — clean, cozy, and with stunning views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a collection of novels and games that kept the kids happily engaged. The host was always responsive and helpful, and the on-site caretaker and cook made our stay even more comfortable. One small feedback we shared about RO servicing was graciously acknowledged by the host, which reflects their genuine care for guest experience. Chirag was an exceptionally helpful and thoughtful host. We had forgotten our charger while checking out, and he went the extra mile to place it safely on the main road for our convenience. His prompt assistance saved us a lot of trouble. We also faced a bit of hesitation while driving through a sharp cut on the way, but Chirag guided us patiently and even helped manoeuvre the vehicle. His local knowledge and helpful nature really made our trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for both the property and the hospitality!

Must visit this place for the views, the peace and the food provided at the place! Gokul is a great guy and was always there for us during the stay. The place looks much better than the photos. Jakhu temple is nearby, and Mall road/ Christ Church is 15 minutes downhill. Great location, good food and affordable price... It was very clean, the furniture is comfortable and our stay was very pleasant. Will surely visit again.

All great Few suggestions which did not affect my rating - were minor things - Place extra towels for use after jacuzzi - - place floor mats at all balcony entry gates to prevent sludge/muddy water after jacuzzi use - water ran out very quickly - increase tank size or set some automatic pump- we had to ask caretaker 2-3 times for switching on the pump - there was no drain in balcony - after jacuzzi bath - entire balcony was water logged - nothing that bothered us, but the caretaker had spent 1 hr cleaning it These were things we felt were obviously needed, which were made available by the caretaker on request - but this hassle can be avoided in future.

After going through a lot of homestay profiles on Airbnb, I selected Aakarshan Homes and I couldn't be happier as we got the impeccable services and very hospitable host Gaurav. I highly recommend this place because of its clean and comfortable rooms and prime location.

It was a really nice stay, peaceful and 15 min walk to mall road initially it was a bit difficult to locate but Prerna was very helpful in communicating and guiding us seamless check in, will definitely stay here again when I'm back in shimla

We had an excellent stay. The property is extremely clean, spacious and strikes the right balance between providing a calm and peaceful environment while being closer to the market and other important points. Highly recommend place!

A nice and private property on the Shimla bypass away from the crowded Shimla. The only problem is the unavailability of a suitable parking. You have to move around with your vehicle again and again even if you're staying for long as the local police will extend every kind of non-cooperation. Another aspect is if you are having any old member in your group then it might become difficult to access the home with ease. Otherwise, the property is safe and secured with scenic view.

Our stay at Jimmy's Homes was amazing—it felt like a secure, luxury apartment in the hills. Each room had a beautiful balcony view, and the apartment was ready before we arrived. It was well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine, water purifier, and heater, and the showers were especially relaxing. The living room was cozy, with a cute study table. Mrs. Poonam, the caretaker, cooked us breakfast, which was a lovely convenience. You can bring groceries or buy them from the complex store, but it opens at 10 AM, so carrying snacks or essentials is recommended since food delivery isn’t available after midnight. The password-protected lock was great, though a safe in the master bedroom would have been helpful. We noticed occasional static shocks, possibly due to a grounding issue, but it was minor. The house was well-lit, airy, and 10 km from Mall Road—peaceful yet accessible. We had a fantastic stay and sincerely thank Anuj and Mrs. Poonam for making it special!
