Holiday rentals with a patio in Eyjafjörður

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We had a very pleasant stay in the appartement, is was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is convenient with some close stores. Jónas was very responsive.

Clear and easy instructions to get to the apartment, and what to do when leaving the apartment. Proactive communication and responsive. The apartment is spacious and centrally located. I appreciated that it also had access to a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Een goed ingerichte en kraaknette verblijfplaats, op een rustige plaats niet ver van het stadje Akureyri. Je krijgt duidelijke instructies om de plaats makkelijk te bereiken. We waren er slechts twee nachten, maar alles is aanwezig om er ook een langer aangenaam verblijf van te maken.

The house was absolutely gorgeous with a very luxurious feel and all the amenities one could ever need. The host was very gracious and accommodating with excellent communications throughout the process. The house sits at the bottom of a beautiful snow mountain so the view is fabulous！

The apartment is easy to find, cosy place and comfortable for 2 persons. Also very easy to comms with Asta.

Eine tolle, gemütliche Unterkunft für 4 Personen..Es gab nichts, was uns gefehlt hat. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt...Danke Maria

We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

What a great place to stay. Newly renovated interior. It felt much larger than the photos showed. Just across the street from the infinity pool and hot tubs. Great stay!!

Such a pristine setting and view! This was such a quaint village with the kindest people. The weather was not as we expected and Thora brought us some lovely pastries and waffle ingredients plus a puzzle! This was far above and beyond! The view and setup of the house was beyond compare. It’s within 100ft of the local restaurant that has incredible food. Also within a few blocks of the fantastic geothermal bath house. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back

Maison très agréable dans un coin paisible, illuminé le soir La cuisine était très bien et les chambres du même étage également, le canapé lit très confortable Dispose du e machine à laver et d’un sèche linge très pratique, de toutes les épices et condiments nécessaire De plus Margret était prête à nous modifier les dates d’arrivée à son logement suite aux intempéries et notre incertitude d’arriver le bon jour. Le seul petit hic concerne la chambre qui est au sous sol, très humide À part cela nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement de Margret

Soffía and the friends host us super well! They are quick reaction when there is electricity problem happen to the whole town, the friends around comes over and fixed all the problems efficiently. They are really warm, and we feel like home. The home looks better than the pictures, it looks like art! We like the jukebox, category of record, and the ukulele. Location: the home is easy to find with numbers , a sigle house located in the small town, there is market, just few mins walk, you can buy the daily essentials, food, drinks, etc, but the host already have everything :) it's close to the scenic points, Mývatn. Surrounding: it's very cozy place, safe and quiet at night; there is hot spring around here for 5-6 min drive. Accommodations: the host seems living here, so it's well equipped with washing machine, dryer, well set up kitchen with ingredients and everything(more than what we have at home). Love the TV paper, i thought it was real painting at the beginning! Very warm!

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

Gehobene Ausstattung, Kleinigkeiten leider defekt. EineTerassentüre konnte man nicht öffnen war mit Hinweisschild markiert. Fernseher im Wohnzimmer funktioniert nicht. Ist uns aber nicht abgegangen. Im Badezimmer die Beleuchtung für den Spiegel ließ sich nicht anschalten. Wäre das alles ok gewesen, 5 Sterne, so nur 4 Sterne. Mit der Bewertung haben wir uns an der sehr gehobenen Ausstattung orientiert, da erwartet man dann, dass auch alles funktioniert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Gerade der Außenpool war wunderschön. Auf Fragen wurden innerhalb kurzer Zeit geantwortet.

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

Krásné ubytování, v klidné části krásného města Akureyri, s dokonalým soukromím. Přívětiví, okamžitě reagující hostitelé, připraveni hned pomoci, když je potřeba. Schöne Wohnung, alles sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, ausreichend Platz, um auch mal nur auf dem Sofa zu hängend. Man ist schnell in der Stadt und es ist erstaunlicherweise sehr ruhig. Hätte ich bei einer so grossen Wohnanlage nicht gedacht.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended. We had an exceptional experience staying at Arna's apartment in Akureyri. The apartment was stylish, clean and perfect for our family trip with our son and his girlfriend. We used Akureyri as our base to explore much of the beautiful northern part of Iceland. We also enjoyed the downtown, the nearby Aviation Museum and the Forest Lagoon. Our experience echoes all of the other outstanding reviews from Arna's prior guests. This apartment is a gem.
