Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Exuma

The Kite House was everything Stephen said it was. Beautiful home off the grid. Power and water worked great. Water at kitchen sink was fantastic! Island lost power one day due to a wreck, but this house never lost power. Wifi works great as well. Stephen was always very helpful and responded promptly when we had any questions. Cocoplum Beach is also gorgeous! The entire island is a must see! We stayed June 3-10. Weather and water was amazing! Truly at least 50 shades of blue and so clear when in it.

This was our third trip to the island, and by far, the best stay we've had! Cat was incredibly responsive and provided great insights. The house itself was beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The king-size bed was a treat and we loved watching the hermit crabs and lizards roam around daily. The beach was peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling, both of which were fantastic. Power outages were minimal (to be expected on the island), and while water pressure on cisterns can be a bit low, it's nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, we had a perfect week in our favorite place and would highly recommend this property!

10/10 island life! Our stay at Bowe Cay was nothing short of spectacular. A perfect family escape to unwind and reconnect. The island is just the right blend of comfort and untouched natural beauty—completely private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning waters. The main house and bungalows were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, hot showers, and Wifi all while maintaining a cozy island feel. Ryan was fantastic to communicate with before our trip. Always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with all our questions. One of the highlights of our experience was Sam, our boat driver and guide. He was warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge that made our time on the island even more special. He helped us get oriented, pointed out the best spots to explore, and made the boat rides feel like part of the adventure. Having access to the kayaks made island exploring even more fantastic! Thanks for hosting us Ryan, can't wait to come back!

Jack's place exceeded our expectations! The home is beautiful and comfortably fit my family of 8 people. Appreciated the details including a well stocked kitchen, a few games, lots of child life jackets, kayaks, coolers, a fresh water dispenser, and snorkels/goggles. Communication with Jack and the house manager was great. He had tons of suggestions for local info before we arrived. The house location was breathtaking on the water. We loved kayaking into Moriah Harbor to see the wildlife- turtles, lots of fish, and a baraccuda, the lazy river, and Cut Beach. Jack's place is a gem and we'd definitely love to come back!

Another fabulous stay at Shangri La. Beyond gorgeous beach!! Cat Island is where I go for great DIY bonefishing and to enjoy the welcoming and low key pace of the island.

Kathleen has been an incredible host. She has always timely replied to our requests providing usefull information about the Island and the logistics. Cat Island is a very beautiful Island and Pigeon Cay, where the house is located, is one of the most beautiful beaches. We enjoyed the calm and trasparent water just in front of the house. We also enjoyed the nice walk alone the beach up to the end, back and forte … rarely meeting someone ! The house is perfectly organized and the screened patio allowed us to relax and to enjoy the view in absence of the annoying mosquitos. Last but not least we also admired the spectacular sunsets, weather has been amazing during our stay. We strongly recommend Kathleen’s House !

This was our second time staying here, we love it!! Quiet area, great view and convenient location if you want to adventure north or south.

Dorothy and the property manager were both as available and helpful as anyone could ever need. My questions were always answered close to immediately and was always super friendly! This newly renovated two bedroom two bathroom house was as beautiful or more beautiful than the photos. There were also lots of nice extras like board and yard games, a couple boogie boards, beach buckets and shovels, an easy to carry small size cooler, a couple snorkel sets, beach towels, etc. Note, no laundry machines. I would however only recommend this rental to groups who LOVE the sound and view of crashing waves. The house is situated very close to a cliff edge with very rough surf (no safe swimming on site). The hot tub gazebo literally gets splashed by wave spray sometimes and the wind and waves are very constant. Closest beach is ok for waking on but not safe to swim. Of course via car you will have access to many wonderful beaches close by that are swimmable and are gorgeous (must do Coco Plum)!
