Monthly Rentals in Exile

I wanted a nice, quiet place to go with my dogs for a workcation. Danni's place was perfect for that! Pet-friendly, comfortable, and easy to access areas and activities. Though located next door to the owners, it felt private and secluded. Oh, and I loved the bed--slept so good! :) Thank you.

Sven's place was much better than staying in a hotel. We were there for a weekend getaway. Sven checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was scenic and peaceful. We hiked at nearby Frontenac State Park both days. Next time we would like to explore the trails around Sven's property. Sven's dog was the best behaved dog I have ever encountered.

everything was amazing! the location is beautiful and private. the interior is incredibly designed and outfitted with everything you could need - right down to built in complimentary shampoo/soap/conditioner in the shower and a fully stocked kitchen. and a quick 2 min drive from downtown, and near a number of other small towns. even the host's recommendations were great and we got to catch live music at a local bar we wouldn't have known about other wise. highly, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Schoolhouse. It was a relaxing space to come home to at the end of the day. They had everything we needed for a getaway weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed. I soaked in the clawfoot tub and read a book while enjoying a glass of wine. The open windows offered plenty of sunshine and views of the green rolling hills of Wisconsin. We plan to come and stay again in the spring. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a unique relaxing stay in the country.
