The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Enjoy life at this peaceful and centrally-located place. From the apartment you can reach the Herten Mitte train station in 3 minutes and the Herten Mitte bus station in 3 minutes. Highways A2 and A43 can be reached in 5 minutes. Veltins-Arena can be reached in 15 minutes by bus & train. Shopping (Kaufland, Lidl, McDonalds) within walking distance. Herten Castle Park is a 2-minute walk. “Deep in the West, where the sun is setting, it is better, much better than you think!”

A place to relax after an eventful day or an exciting evening. An extra-wide box-spring bed (180 × 200) and a Ligne Roset Multy sofa bed (160 × 200) give everything for a relaxing night's sleep. The free parking space for two cars and right in front of the entrance door makes it easier to arrive without stress.
