We are 10 minutes to Omni Bedford Springs & downtown Bedford which includes Olde Bedford Brewing and Bella Terra Winery. There are hiking/biking trails nearby in addition to 5 golf courses and Rocky Gap Casino. We are also centrally located to 4 different ski resorts. Dining options include Union Hotel, Black Valley Provender, LIFeSTYLE’s, 10/09, Golden Eagle, Bad Boyz Bistro, & Jean Bonnet Tavern.

The Resting Place

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. This little haven is close to multiple big towns such as Mercersburg and Chambersburg, yet located just far enough away that you can enjoy the country side and the quiet little town feeling. With hiking and two overlooks on neighboring mountains you can embrace nature at it's fullest. Come and enjoy it for yourself!

JAREZ Farm 3 BR Farmhouse

3 Bedroom Farmhouse located out in the country. A front porch overlooks a pasture and pond. A back porch overlooks barns, animals, and fields. A dining room table with seating for six. A spacious living room with a wrap around sofa. A fully furnished kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher. One bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with a king bed, and a third bedroom with twin bunks. The spacious bathroom also includes washer and dryer. There are two ponds stocked for fishing.

Horns Cabins - Allegheny Cabin by the roadside

This cabin has 1 queen bed, 1 single bed. Sleeps 3 but you could sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if you're ok with one child sleeping on the futon couch. You have access to our property for a nice walk, fishing or kayaking in the river, a relaxing campfire or just exploring the countryside. It is located towards the front of our campground by the road. There's a small efficiency kitchen. It's a short 4 mile drive to Shawnee Park, downtown Bedford shopping and several restaurants.

Farm House Breezwood, 4 bedrooms

Come to the country where you can watch the wildlife and see amazing sunsets. Plenty of attractions biking, hiking and kayaking. The home has been completely remodeled . Enjoy the spacious open concept family room that meets the kitchen, or the large living room for quiet comfort. Four bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. Perhaps just sit on one of the front porch rockers or by the fire pit in the evening. We do not allow pets at this property.

Since you are in the heart of Amish country there is home cooking and baking nearby! The area boasts of several antique shops as well. The lower level apartment you will have to yourself. It has a separate entrance from the main level. This level features a gas fireplace, large master bedroom and partial kitchen.
