Had such a nice stay here! The details and quality of everything in Little Phoranna made it feel really luxury while also being cosy and homely. The property and surrounds are so peaceful and it’s just a short drive from the beaches at Grassy Head and Scotts Head. Our hosts were very friendly and Andrew was so helpful as to come down to the unit to talk us through getting the indoor fire started as well as the barbecue. It was a really relaxing escape and a lovely AirBnb experience!

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Kim's Shouse is a beautifully decorated, peaceful, super clean unit with everything you need in a home away from home. Super comfortable bed, great amenities and superb location near the beach. I'll book again when I'm back to explore the region! Kim is a wonderful host with great communication.

We enjoyed our stay very relaxing. The house is quirky themed we loved all the nick knacks. Great for family or couples. Loved all the little surprises in the garden very cute. Beds are comfortable/rooms are very clean. The kitchen was well organised right down to a heat pad under the microwave on the bench below. They have thought of most things you would need to stay. Kitchen table was a good size. We ate mostly out side on the great sized deck with a lovely out look. There is a barbecue which we didn't end up using. Bath room was good. 2 toilets 1 in the laundry which has everything you would need. Yes we would come back if up this way again. Thankyou
