Cedar Cabin

A spacious timber cabin built 8 years ago. In a very quiet location amid the fields and woods of our farm, situated in the garden of my home and off a private road leading only to the farm. Cooking facilities are microwave, mini-cooker with two rings and oven, slow cooker, frig and sink. Beds are made up as king size unless singles are requested in advance. Pets are welcome. The Cabin has its own garden securely fenced. Garden furniture with sun loungers, table and chairs and charcoal BBQ.

Situated on a working farm a mile from the town of Selkirk makes Highfield an ideal base to explore. Highfield commands an elevated position giving panoramic views of Selkirk and the surrounding hills. Situated on The Borders Abbey Way there is easy access to excellent walking and cycling routes. For the more adventurous we are a short drive to great mountain biking routes at Innerleithen and Peebles. Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

The Old Dairy at West bold farm

The Dairy is the former farm Dairy which we converted to a completely self-contained apartment adjoining the main farmhouse where we live with our children. The living/kitchen area is heated by a log burner. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and private bathroom . Enjoy the charm of a rural location, with bike trails, fishing and walking on the doorstep. Relax in the garden and enjoy a nice walk down to the river Tweed . Please note there are some cold areas of the house in winter
