Townhouse holiday rentals in Essex County

Everything was just as we expected - wonderful! It really is a 4 minute walk to the beach! The bedrooms were lovely and the beds comfy. The kitchen equipment and dishes were great- full sets of plates, utensils, knives, pots and pans, etc. We grilled most every night and enjoyed the private area out side. Other nights we ate in restaurants in Gloucester, which is a cute town with shops and a museum on the waterfront. Rockport is just a few minutes away and makes for a fun afternoon of poking around shops. M Russell is very responsive to questions. All the communications were great. We were on a vacation with our 2 adult kids and their partners. Everyone had a great time.

We went to Boston to attend a college graduation so we rented this house for the family. We were very happy with the home and the location. The house was stocked with all of the basic necessities. It is newly renovated with a great kitchen and was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was great for walking, with several small grocery stores and restaurants close. Wally was a very proactive and professional host. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful rental. It was newly renovated inside and had all the comforts of home and then some. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Air conditioners in each of the 3 bedrooms plus the kitchen and living room. Our days there unfortunately were on the cooler side so we left the windows open or put the heat on to take the chill out. Large L shaped couch which was also very comfortable. Living room opened onto the back covered porch with table and chairs and then you walk down a couple stairs into the fenced backyard (sand) then walk through a gate onto the beach. The backyard also has a seating area. The only drawback (it wouldn’t be for everyone) is you have to park your car down the street and around the corner so if anyone has difficulty walking they would need to be dropped off first then someone else park the car and walk back. Laurie was very responsive to calls or text messages if you had any questions. Overall a great rental! Very satisfied!

My husband and I loved our stay at Darryl’s space! It was clean, well designed, and felt luxurious! Darryl was kind and responsive and we will definitely look to book with him again in the future!

It was great, the place is awesome and it couldn't be better. I extended the stay for one more week, that's says how much I loved the place.

Amyn is a fantastic host. I stayed here for three months and everything was great. The bedroom is basically on the third floor so it gets warm in the summer months, but there is a small desk fan in the room to help balance that out. I had my dog with me and Amyn is great with pets. The neighbor has a dog that barks A LOT though. Backyard is spacious enough for dogs to do their business and isn’t really used for anything else. It can get muddy after it rains though. Noise wise, it’s fairly quiet but it’s close to a strange intersection in Haverhill and there was a lot of honking and tire screeching at peak traffic hours. Emergency vehicle noise wasn’t too bad though. Amyn recently added a second bathroom to the house so I basically had my own bathroom right next to the bedroom as well. Overall, I would recommend Amyn’s house to anyone that’s staying in Haverhill regardless of the amount of time.

Beautiful house, close to convenience stores. Extremely close to an amazing breakfast place. Very quick to respond to messages, flexible on check in time. If I come back to Salem I will definitely be coming to Zara’s!!!

What a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Salem. We could walk every where and had a cozy place to come back to and relax. The ambiance was on point and never have seen such a clean airbnb! Meg was fabulous and accommodating! We highly recommend staying here.

Linda’s place is in the heart of downtown Beverly. Perfect walking distance to the train station at Beverly Depot, which I highly recommend you take to Salem and neighboring towns! Along with being close to the train, it’s walking distance to some amazing coffee shops, pizza place, and other shops/restaurants! Linda made sure the place looked super clean and pristine, she also added some seasonal Halloween decor! Overall, it was the perfect place to stay for my first trip to Salem, 10/10 recommend!!

This home was perfect for us. Good location, not too far to a coffee/small breakfast shop and beach access. Kitchen was stocked well. Brought a dog with us and it was perfect for her as well. Owners are very nice and responsive. Would recommend and would go back :)

We enjoyed our Stay in Newburyport. People above the unit were a bit noisy when they walked. You could hear them walking back and forth. Sort of expected I guess on an old building.

Very comfortable stay and conveniently located

Was truly a "home away from home". Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Great location for going into Boston or heading north. So many activities to do all within an hours drive, and Salem is only a 10 minute drive. The perfect retreat to return to after a busy day of exploring. Most importantly, Noreen and Jeff are responsive and kind. Thank you for helping us make a memorable family vacation.

2nd time we’ve stayed here and had another great stay! Really bright, clean, and comfortable space for 6 people. floor plan makes it so you never feel on top of each other, and with great hangout space in living room. Close walk to the beach and easy into downtown. The host was very responsive and on top of fixing an issue during our weekend. Don’t miss the sunset club nearby if weather cooperates! Both our weekends have been rainy and the place is spacious enough we didn’t feel totally cooped up, but hoping next time we can take advantage of the nice deck and proximity to the ocean. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay despite it being rainy and cloudy week. The house has all the amenities listed and kitchen was well stacked in terms of utensils. Every room had wardrobe and storage. There was even vacuum to clean, we stayed 4 nights. Mattress was comfy and bed didn’t make any noise. All rooms have proper shades. Host is very responsive. On 1st night, AC was not working but Daryl got it fixed the 1st thing in morning by calling the contractor. Despite AC not working, there was fan which made the temperature really comfy even on 1st night. The apartment was spot cleaned without even a single spot of dust. Last but not least, Daryl is always responsive via messages and made our stay really comforting. We would love to come back here.

Wonderful stay! The host was excellent, the room was clean and exactly as described. Great location, close to Magoon Square and with easy access to the city.

Our stay at Steven’s apartment was great—easily walkable to all attractions, clean, well appointed, and much more spacious than I expected from the photos. Parking and check in were easy, and we would gladly look to stay again next time we’re in the area

Mike is the kindest man from the eastern shore. A true native accent all. I sincerely and deeply feel Michael enjoys what he does and offers a great experience. I literally would plan a trip around staying at that Airbnb when I come back to Revere. He made me breakfast and offered to take me to the airport, which was so kind and generous. I can’t say enough about how much I admire him and his home. If I could offer 20 stars, I would.
