Chalet holiday rentals in Essert-Romand

We had a fabulous week-long stay at the Petit Chalet in Dingy-Saint-Clair. The chalet was absolutely perfect – equipped with everything we could possibly need, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is ideal, offering stunning views and peaceful surroundings while still being just a short and easy drive into Annecy. Celine and Mikael were wonderful hosts – warm, welcoming, and always available to answer any questions we had. Thank you so much!

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Sylvie is absolutely wonderful and her home is the best place we've stayed in Morzine. We're booking to return next year! We are two families who came with two toddlers, a 5-year-old and 17-year-old. All of the kids were entertained and happy. There is plenty of space for everyone to convine for some social time or do their own things. Eight of us in total and never felt cramped. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous! The Prodains bus stops right outside so getting to Avoriaz each day was very easy. Morzine center is ten minutes walk. The hill is steep but you can get the free bus instead. We did the hill with a double pram and it was fine. Sylvie us full of recommendations and her home has plenty of toys, dvds, etc to keep everyone entertained. Although our toddlers just wanted to visit the chickens next door and play in the flowers most of the time. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfy!

Yannick is a very friendly and very responsive host, ready to offer activities. His chalet, very well equipped, is located in a hamlet allowing you to relax in peace and enjoy a very beautiful panorama. I particularly recommend having breakfast on the terrace, with the view of the Val d'Arly, with the morning sun as a companion! Not far from the cottage, beautiful walks, strolls or hikes to do. Possibility to relax and recover physically from your hike by bathing in the water of the small village of Flumet. Truly a beautiful cottage, a beautiful place to know and a most friendly host.

We had an amazing week at the chalet. The chalet was fully equipped. It was very clean and the surroundings are beautiful. The communication with Laurent was also pleasant. We definitely recommend the chalet!

The view! Great place in a stunning location. Only minutes to shops and 10mins from Chamonix. Beautiful walks on the doorstep. A short walk up the hill and you can take in the view of Mont Blanc Will visit again

We had a lovely stay! It is a very nice, clean and cozy cottage, the bathroom has been recently renovated! The kitchen has all the comforts. The only thing that is still good to mention is that the cottage is on the shady side of the mountain in the afternoon. You had wonderful sun in the morning, but not on the terrace in the afternoon. In the garden, there is sun until 6:30 pm! So you can relax on the sun loungers. Communication with Pemmy was great! We could even stay another night at the last minute. We were a group of 12 women and had a great time at the chalet. The chalet is spacious and well appointed. The plus point is definitely the many bathrooms with such many people. The view is beautiful and the village center is within walking distance. Kevin was accessible at all times and provided all the necessary information. We would definitely come back!

Beautiful little cottage, perfect for a family of 4. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace with breathtaking views. Clément was a perfect host, he provided us with all the necessary information before and during the stay.

A superb chalet ideally located whether for local shops or for the sites of interest of the Aulps valley. Inside everything is beautiful, clean, upscale. From the smallest kitchen utensil to the sauna, everything has been carefully chosen. We were 8 adults and 2 small children, the accommodation, very large and well-equipped (the beds are very, very comfortable!) allows everyone to have a great stay. And of course, there's Samuel and Catherine, our hosts. Charming, responsive, they answer all your questions. And if you have children, go and see their chickens and ponies, they will be delighted! In short, if you have a project in this corner of the Alps, don't hesitate!

The chalet is beautiful and the views from the balcony are incredible! Everyone agreed this was the best stay of our trip. We felt very comfortable here. 10/10 would recommend

The photographs do not do this chalet justice. It is such a beautiful property with amazing views! The place was fully equipped for a large group. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Great value for money also. A car is a must to get to this chalet but we had no issues with prebooking taxis. Thank you so much Jo for being a fantastic host.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was really spacious and well furnished with everything we needed. The jacuzzi had a perfect temperature and was amazing to relax and enjoy the view. Everything was very easygoing and laid back. I’can totally recommend the place, specially for groups or families.

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

very nice house! It has all the amenities you need and it is extremely close to the beach and to a nice park. Also nice garden with barbecue and a lot of play stuff. The kitchen is perfect. It was self check-in and there were no instructions, so at first some things, like sorting trash and using the TV, were difficult. I would definitely recommend this house. It was perfect for a group of 10 adults.

The stay in this fabulous chalet was just amazing. And we really enjoyed the relaxing sauna and fireplace evenings. The surrounding with the lake and the mountains is just stunning. The chalet itself is very well equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen. We totally recommend this chalet.

We came to spend a few days with the family for the week of the ascension and the Maxi race. We had all the comforts in Marie and Rodolphe's comfortable chalet located in a beautiful setting in Doussard. Our 4th time in the chalets of this campsite and it is always super nice. Very good stay in a small Savoyard mazot, very peaceful and beautiful environment with a magnificent view, beautiful walks nearby. Everything you need for 2 people, with small balcony and table in the garden. We recommend!

Aboslutely the best location in the area. The view from all rooms is exceptional. I would not hesitate to book this property again. There is one thing of note, and this was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The house is a duplex. The large deck in front connects to the ajoining unit. It is owned by the same (very friendly) family. I hope to return to this wonderful place again soon.

Very beautiful environment, between the lake and a really beautiful massif. The chalet has a beautiful, large, very pleasant plot in good weather. As for the chalet itself, no surprise compared to the listing, except that the room with the 2 single beds does not have a solid door. It is separated from the corridor by shutters, the frame being too narrow to install a door. It didn't bother us, but it surprised us.
