Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Escholzmatt-Marbach

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lakes, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

Apart from our little mishaps with the luggage, which partially ruined our holiday, the place itself was nice — a welcome escape from the busy city to the peaceful quiet of the mountains with a view.

A spacious apartment with well equipped kitchen. Perfect base for hikes and a swim in the lake nearby and then enjoy homemade dinner in the garden.

We spent 5 nights at Jürg and Rachel’s apartment, and it was simply amazing. They were incredibly helpful and kind. The setting is beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Lake Thunersee, and there are plenty of hikes to enjoy in the area. The place is peaceful and cozy — I highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate to go and enjoy nature to the fullest!

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with recent appliances of very good quality (induction stove, vacuum hood of the future, all the necessary utensils available, beautiful fridge... all impeccably clean). Difficult then to return to our modest urban apartment 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. Garbage containers are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously provided with towels of different sizes and much appreciated basics. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hopefully we can come back to Reto in the winter!

Monika’s place was fantastic! The apartment is perfect and very well thought out. It has everything you need. I have two little girls and they were so excited to have so many things available for them. The beds, the stuffies and toys! Monika really thought of it all. As some people have written it is a bit of a hike getting up to the room but it’s so worth it. The view is truly amazing and the little garden on the way up is so cute. We hope to come back someday!

It was really good place to stay in middle of mountains and host was so helpful in all way. We as a family really enjoyed staying there.

Barbara's farm is real awesome. We enjoyed a lot. Barbara is a great host, always ready to help to make sure her guests are in a great comfort. The location is awesome with great views. There is nothing to complain about... Barbara also provided us farm made fresh bread, butter, cheese, Jam and milk. The accomodation is also great for the kids as they have many options to play. We would love to visit again!!!

It was wondeful staying with her. the room is in a beautiful location overlooking the mountains. Lina is very friendly and helpful. She even gave us a bunch of discount coupons which helped us save a lot of money. The room is small but gets the job done. All the essentials are available in the room. Its a 20 min bus ride to interlakken, so not too bad.

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

The Alphüttli offered exactly what we were looking for. Peace, nature and just time to be! The neighbor Gregor is also very helpful and has three great dogs. Alex gave us great instructions and was always easily accessible for questions. We will be happy to come back!

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

A rustic with top quality. Not too much and not too little. Tastefully and stylishly furnished. We felt SUPER comfortable. Unfortunately, the stay was too short ....... but we will come back 100%. Bravo Fabio!
