This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest cottages line the path. No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not located in a vacation park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018, it was completely renovated and furnished with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best thing is that it is in the middle of the trees. All the freedom on our own 1100m2 property! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

(8-20 people) This detached mansion from 1935 is located in the centre of Emmen, just a few minutes' walk from nightlife, the train station, the forest, Wildlands and the Rensenpark. There is ample (free!) parking. You rent the entire upper apartment and part of the lower apartment with its own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and nice garden.
