By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Modernized apartment (70 m²) in one of the most beautiful areas of the Rhön. If you are looking for peace and original nature, this is the place to be. From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

In the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, you will find the newly renovated vacation home, also known as “Hühnerhuis” in family circles. Here you can experience unique sunrises. If you want to enjoy absolute peace, this is the place to be! Hiking trails, bike trails, and various attractions are very close. Hello dear guests, the apartment is on the 1st floor in the beautiful Rhönblick district of Bettenhausen. You have your own privacy and a fully equipped apartment with towels and sanitary supplies. There is also a large garden, parking in front of the house and more in the immediate vicinity. The kitchen is additionally equipped with the basic spices as well as sugar, vinegar and oil, coffee, tea and a regional wellness drink. We look forward to your stay.

Zudem ist ein Balkon mit Süd-West-Ausrichtung vorhanden. Die Wohnung besitzt eine Fußbodenheizung und einen großen SAT-TV.

Elderflower House

Our house is located in Rüdenschwinden in one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany. Rüdenschwinden is a small, charming village not far from the Schwarzes Moor and Fladungen. The vacation home is detached and surrounded by a 600 square meter, fully fenced garden. Here everyone will find a place to relax, play or linger. Dogs are also welcome. The property has a car parking space. From the two balconies you can enjoy a scenic view.

Lovingly renovated farmhouse Rhön/Kaltenwestheim

The 125-year-old farmhouse is located at about 500 m in a very quiet location in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, an ideal starting point for hiking, biking and enjoying nature. The house can accommodate up to 8 people, and it can also be comfortably furnished for 2. The house is fully equipped. Network cables in all rooms, very good Wi-Fi on each floor, desks in each room and a large attic also allow very good remote working.

In the 2-story accommodation, the bathroom, a bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Upstairs are another bedroom and the living room. The quiet garden invites you to linger and relax. Two sun loungers are also available in summer. Feel free to use the organic herbs and vegetables from the in-house greenhouse. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal starting point for both city and nature excursions.
