Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Epirus

Nikoli & Takis are the most thoughtful and gracious hosts. They provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house is simply perfect - nice, quiet, very clean, the kitchen and bathroom contain everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the terraces are spacious, the garden is so green and beautiful. Nikoli & Takis had excellent restaurant recommendations and they were so helpful. They went way beyond to make our summer holiday comfortable and memorable. We had a great stay! Our stay was just great. The house is located in beautiful Pournia, a beautiful and calm village, ideal for those seeking relaxation. The view from the accommodation is really wonderful, the mountains and nature spread out in front of you create the perfect setting for morning coffee. It's a place where you really feel cut off from the stress of everyday life. The house has a lovely fireplace, that adds warmth and creates a unique atmosphere, especially in the evenings. It was super clean, fully equipped, and very cozy. The hosts were friendly and made sure to give us all the information about things to do in the area. In addition, the location of the house was ideal for visiting Drakolimni, which is relatively close and is a destination worth seeing! If you're looking for a destination where nature, views, tranquility, and warmth come together ideally, this Airbnb is the ultimate choice. Highly recommend!

We had the best 4 days ımagınable ın Orıana Cottage. Early May ıs a fabulous tıme ın Paxos - few tourısts, very green, wıth perfect temperatures of 24. Most tavernas were open and the beautıful beaches, accessıble on foot, were maınly deserted. Donatella was the perfect host, meetıng us off the ferry wıth her car. She ıs so kınd and helpful. The tradıtıonal small stone house was clean and sımple and full of character. The stone patıos were fılled wıth colourful flowerıng plants, a perfect place to eat and relax. We felt completely at home and loved meetıng the 3 outdoor cats who are respectful and well behaved.. Donatella kındly drove us across the ısland so we could see the spectacular whıte clıffs and the beautıful Erımıtıs beach from where we walked 6 mıles back home along tıny paths through the olıve groves. When we learned that our ferry to Corfu had been cancelled, Donatella came straıght round and helped us re book wıth Kamelıa Lınes . Thank you Donatella, we gıve you 10 stars

We had a great time two couples! The farm had three stone houses built in a quiet environment literally surrounded by nature, while the peace and quiet that prevailed everywhere, is something you rarely encounter anymore! We were greeted by Mrs. Friday's brother and gave us the necessary accommodation instructions! Entering you meet an anteroom with a bathroom and to the right - to its left is two rooms! On the left is the living room with the beautiful fireplace, two passes that can sleep up to 3 adults and the kitchen! To the right of the vestibule is the bedroom with the double bed and the closet, decorated with beautiful stone details! The warmth of the huge bodies was excellent and there is also the possibility of wood in the fireplace! Plenty of hot water from a solar water heater! In general, the place was one of the best we've stayed in the last few years and is highly recommended!

We couldn’t dream for a better stay in Paxos! The house is just a piece of art! In real life much more better than on the photos! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to everyone who goes there for short or long term!

Our stay was awesome. Very beautiful island with many gorgeous beaches to visit, great restaurants and nice little villages all around. Evangeline’s great because since she was born and grew up in Paxos she had valuable information and insights for everything. We would love to visit again. PS. So many people just stop by and take pictures of really the most beautiful house (read up on the Maestro series) in the whole island.

The place was clean tidy and comfortable as described and shown in the photos also it was quiet . The host showed interest at check-in and during our stay, and I thank her for that . I would be happy to recommend others to visit the place or even I would prefer it again on my future visit to Ioannina

Thank you Athanasios for the great stay. Both the little ones and the grown ups had a restful sleep. Also, I appreaciate a lot that there was still water and snacks in the fridge. Very nice of you to provide filter coffee and local sweets. It made our breakfast much enjoyable.

We should have known it was going to be amazing the moment we arrived — every single detail had been so thoughtfully considered. From the electric gate and stunning stonework to the high-quality curtains and shutters, everything was state of the art, immaculate, and felt practically brand new. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort — elegant yet welcoming, stylish yet homely. The pool area was a dream, especially for our two young children who absolutely loved it. Spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained, and with beautifully balanced water — no harsh chlorine, just crystal-clear and refreshing. Nikolas, our host, was incredible — warm, generous, and always on hand with excellent recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, and cultural gems. He made us feel completely taken care of. We’ve been travelling the world for the past six months, and this has been one of our absolute favourite stays. We’re already dreaming of returning — it truly was exceptional!

What an amazing place and wonderful hosts. The house and setting are perfect. Very peaceful and just like the pictures. George and Demitra were incredibly welcoming and made you feel instantly at home. The kitchen was generously stocked, with George leaving a bottle of local wine on more than one occasion! We were on the lookout for a place right by the sea for a month long stay - to be able to wake up and go for a morning swim, walk along the beach, or take a kayak from the doorstep was pretty special. The sunsets are beautiful, and then you get to watch the fireflies in the garden. The area still feels untouched by mass tourism, and is surrounded by olive tree forests and rolling hills - perfect for exploring by bike (provided). There’s a couple of very good beach tavernas close by, and you have the option to paddle there if you wish! We were very sad to leave, but feel completely rejuvenated. Thank you George & Demitra.

Our stay at the place was a great experience!!! The house was super clean and tidy, fully functional and fully equipped. There was always space for parking, without any hassle. Our host was very welcoming, considerate, and gave us helpful instructions. In general, I appreciate that our stay was very pleasant and I would recommend the house for anyone who wants to enjoy the area , without the hustle and bustle of more central homes.

First, I booked this whilst on the road. for the next day. The hosts were soo accommodating as it was not ready when I booked but by the time I arrived ( early) all was done including the pool! Remember it is outside the holiday season in Greece. The place is immaculate, with beautiful furniture and fittings. Nothing was too much trouble. I took it for myself, but 3 fellow motorcyclist turned up and we loved it so much, and the area for an extra day. cannot fault anything or the hosts. Good tip given, is walk to town, taxi back. The house is very nice and enough spacious for 6 people and 4 children (2 babies and 2 kids who are 3 and 5 years old). The beach below the house is very close and it is nice, with cristal clear water. The owners are discreet, we practically didn't see them for 10 days. There are a few things that could be better, though: undermatresses are made of polyester which makes bedsheets slippery; None of the taps in the showers is not working, which makes washing babies when changing diapers a bit complicated; The door handles are difficult to open and should be changed; The air-conditionin in the living room was broken (the water drops all the time) and the owner said the electrician would come tomorrow, but it didn't happen, so we didn't use it. Overall, a nice experience, with few things I would change.

Charming quiet house, large garden and very convenient terrace with direct access to the living room and kitchen. Well-equipped both inside and out, nothing is missing, not even a nice BBQ, which is very useful in these latitudes. We traveled with a child under 2 years old, everything was ready for him too including a crib and a room well suited to a child of this age. Communication with our hosts was perfect and we want to thank them for their great availability. Finally, everything is within walking distance (shopping, beaches, restaurants, aperitifs, boat tours and rentals, etc.) but it would be a shame to deprive yourself of a means of transport that you can rent on site. Indeed, the area is very beautiful and allows for beautifully varied visits. (Ioánnina and its old town, the Acherontas canyon, and beautiful archaeological sites incredibly well preserved). Don't overlook a small seaside cafe in Igoumenitsa. Thanks for everything!!
