Everything has already been said, it's just unbelievable. Popi embodies Greek hospitality. There were drinks and vegetables in the refrigerator. You could help yourself in their beautiful garden. The highlight was the great food. We had fresh fish and a lot of different vegetarian things. Simply delicious. Unfortunately, it was only 4 days, but they were great. We would come back anytime. Kostas and Maria's Gonies Taverna and Appartments are amongst the best and most special places we have ever stayed, both in Crete and elsewhere in Europe. The situation in the mountains, just below the Lasithi Plateau is idyllic, very quiet with just the sound of mountain goats but also on a good road and in a beautiful garden full of bird sound. Kostas and Maria were wonderful generous hosts, the spacious appartment full of personal touches and breakfast (and supper) in their taverna delicious. We stayed 3 nights and would love to come back

This little house in the olive trees is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday, the house is beautifully designed and located directly within the olive trees. With beaches, supermarkets just 5mins away. Manolis was the perfect kind and caring host, his instructions were very easy to understand and he responded super fast to my questions. Would definitely recommend!

Very quiet place with amazing views. We really enjoyed our time there. The house is well equipped and has everything your heart desires. In the surrounding villages are very beautiful beaches, which were hardly visited, as well as small tavernas with super tasty and cheap food. We felt very comfortable.
