THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite, but nicely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday property (house with 2 apartments with separate entrances) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein, directly on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm of land also invite you to campfire, camping and in winter to toboggan on your own toboggan slope. The house is only a vacation property. So it has no permanent tenants. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask you to be considerate of each other.

Modern, minimalist, super cozy: In our vacation homes in the trendy Bauhaus style, you will sleep in absolute peace and a great ambience surrounded by greenery. The Waldbaude Cozy (30 sqm, for a maximum of 2 adults + 1 child) offers an atmosphere where you simply have to feel comfortable, thanks to the open-plan design. The large panoramic windows flood the forest buildings with daylight and through the slanted skylight above the bed you have an unobstructed view of the (star) sky.

Chalet „Panorama Peak“

Chalet Panorama Peak is a wooden house built in 2025 with 85 square meters of living space and guarantees a healthy indoor climate. You will receive a spacious living/dining area with guest toilet and on the upper floor 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with large shower area. The open design and attention to detail ensure a carefree stay. Ideal for families or couples who want to enjoy a break in the Harz. The wide panorama of the Harz mountains lets you quickly enter vacation mode.

Vacation home on the castle hill

The vacation home in Harztor/Ilfeld is idyllically located on the edge of the forest on a 2000 sqm garden plot opposite the main house. Car parking on the premises, charging facilities for electric vehicles and bicycle garage are available. Ideal starting point for Harz explorers; as hikers, skiers, bikers, motorists or leisurely with the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways. Distance to train station, supermarket, restaurant about 500 m. Free Wi-Fi. Laundry service by appointment.

Our biologically and sustainably renovated approx. 300-year-old half-timbered vacation home has the comfort of the modern and looks like a cottage. It can accommodate 8 people. Enjoyment in front of the fire and heat-giving fireplace or in the sun in the garden. Experience the magic of the wonderful landscape with the wide views of the places of worship of the Sonnenstein, the Kyffhäuser, the “Ayers Rock” and into the Harz Mountains to the volcanic summit of Ravensberg.

Gänsetrappe - Vacation in a monument

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. Villa Meier FeWo Park view

Villa Meier is located directly on the Karst hiking trail. It leads in close proximity past the Röseteich, one of the approx. 50 "monastery ponds". Nevertheless, the center of Walkenried is within walking distance. Upstairs of Villa Meier is the almost 120 sqm apartment. It is furnished for max. 6 adults and has two bedrooms with large double beds and folding closet beds in the living room. In the apartment is a children's travel cot and a high chair. Free Wi-Fi.

Only 5 minutes away from the spa park and town center of Bad Sachsa, it is idyllic and quiet on the Pfaffenberg – right on the edge of the forest. So you can reach the city center in just a few minutes on foot with numerous restaurants, shopping & doctor's offices.

The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the small village of Werna, population 200, which belongs to the town of Ellrich at the foot of the southern Harz Mountains. An open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with a fireplace invites you to enjoy convivial evenings. To rejuvenate, let yourself be wonderfully warmed in the infrared sauna, and after settling into the cozy Swiss pine bed, nothing stands in the way of a deep and restful sleep.

In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.
