Parking space for 1 car. The Lodge is equipped with heating, air conditioning, WiFi, kitchen, bathroom and a made bed of 140x200 cm and towels. The size of the Lodge is 3x6 m, of which one meter is a covered outdoor kitchen. Wildlife lookout point around the corner! Restaurants and bike rentals are within walking distance. Public transportation 10-15 min.

For an evening at Gelredome, it is a 10-minute drive. Middachten Castle is around the corner. You can also take the foot ferry to the beach of Rhederlaag. Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Free parking is available on our own, enclosed property, bicycles can be stored under cover. You can enjoy the nice place on the water and the garden house. Breakfast is ready for you in the fridge. In Doesburg, you will find nice restaurants, shops and museums. Or visit the Achterhoek, Veluwe, Arnhem and Zutphen, a nice mix of culture and history!

Barenbroek Lodge is een vakantiehuis in het groene buitengebied van Laag-Keppel. De lodge beschikt over 3 slaapkamers en is geschikt voor 6 personen( inclusief kinderen), een badkamer en een volledig uitgeruste keuken. Het vakantiehuis is rustig gelegen aan de rand van de Achterhoek nabij het natuurgebied de Hoge Veluwe en op korte afstand van Hanzesteden als Doesburg en Zutphen. Daarnaast is het een ideale uitvalbasis voor fiets- en wandeltochten en watersport.

Als je logeert in een boom, dan ga je even op in het leven van de boom. Je voelt heel sterk het ritme van de dag en nacht in de natuur. Je komt tot rust als je meebeweegt op dit ritme. De vogels die de dag inluiden en de vogels die de nacht inluiden. Je overziet het landschap vanuit een hoger perspectief. Je kijkt even op een andere manier naar de wereld, van bovenaf. In een boom slapen, letterlijk tussen de takken slapen is een onbeschrijfelijke ervaring.
