For decades during the Cold War, the bridge was the place where spies were exchanged.

The Entenkoje offers you a unique nature experience in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. You don't need a driver's licence and can drive the boat without any prior knowledge. In the boat you will find a cozy double bed with a view of the starry sky. On board, there is a small gas cooker with coffee, tea and the necessary accessories - perfect for your breakfast directly on the water. A bathroom, shower, a fully equipped kitchen & a parking space are available to you in our base on land.

The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
