Cottage holiday rentals in Elbe

The house looked great on the pictures – but in real life it exceeded our expectations! Not only is the place beautifully decorated, it exudes a warmth and generosity that is rarely found. The communication with Michela was straightforward, the handover went smoothly – the most important things were explained without being flooded. This allowed us to start our weekend right away. We have never seen such a beautiful garden – well maintained and so lovingly laid out.. You immediately notice why this house is so often booked. There was something to do for the children at all ages, even for teenagers. A small downside: children count here as full-fledged people from baby age. Unfortunately, this meant that we could not arrive in the desired family constellation, although the house offers over 20 beds. Small children under 6 should not count. Other than that, everything was wonderful - we'll be back.

We had a great time at the ferry house and enjoyed the stay very much - Heiko and Ina are totally nice and helpful and the place and garden are very nice. Thank you, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The stay was great. The cottage was as described, very well equipped and very clean. At check-in, we received a small welcome gift in the form of sparkling wine & focaccia. The journey was a little difficult, as we were led through a forest by Google Maps, with only one tarred road leading to the small village. So be careful here, it's better to drive 5 minutes longer than to be led through mud and slush. We still enjoyed our few days off here and can definitely imagine coming back for a longer period of time.

We had a great stay and everything worked smoothly despite the last-minute change. The house is equipped with everything you need and the garden with jacuzzi and sauna is great! We were very pleased.

We went to the cottage with 6 girls and 6 kids – and it was absolutely great! The cottage is beautiful, clean, stylishly furnished and well-equipped. The sauna and barrel were top, perfect for an evening “wellness” after a day of children's chaos 😄 The location is perfect – it's close to everything, whether it's for a trip, into the woods, or a playground. A big plus for a quiet neighborhood and accommodating owners. And did we get some rest? Well... not at all with so many children, but it was still a balm for the soul and we definitely want to come back here. We recommend all ten!

It was very nice and as described. Great environment, lovingly furnished without being too crowded. The kitchen is quite small (as described in the ad) but is above average well equipped for an AirBnB. Everything was very clean and well maintained. However, you should be able to deal with the occasional spider, which I see as a logical consequence of a wooden house in nature. There are 3 houses next to each other, but since they are slightly offset, this does not bother you. The pool is slightly above the houses as described and is definitely worth it. Payment directly through AirBnB went completely smoothly. All in all a beautiful stay.

We chose the place as a Christmas meeting place for the family. It was really a feel-good place with plenty of space and yet a cozy ambience. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for cooking together. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the children (and adults) can use the whole floor as a play area. A fireplace is available for use. During a cozy breakfast, deer often keep you company in the garden. The bathroom is an oasis of well-being with a walk-in shower and hot tub. The whole house is flooded with light. The beds were all cozy. We slept well. At night, there was no sound to be heard, no background noise from any street. Not far away are the Externsteine and the Hermannsdenkmal, among other things. It was perfectly sufficient for our short stay. But there is certainly more for those who want to stay longer. The hosts are easy to reach for questions. We'd love to come back.

We had an amazing time at Klaras place. The house had everything you need and was very cozy. The garden is incredible, we spent our evenings grilling at the fireplace while our dog could stroll around. Klara is a great host, very friendly and good communication. We definitely recommend staying here and are looking forward to come back soon!

We were passing through and were guests of Katja for two nights. The cottage is very nice and lovingly furnished. The cottage has its own character. We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed the stay. We were four adults and had two dogs with us. Everything worked out great and we would gladly come back.

Marta's place is a cute cottage close to the forest. Everything was lovingly furnished and everything you need was available. Also ideal for dogs, as everything is fenced. Marta is very friendly and even offered to leave earlier or a little later. What we were happy to use. We really enjoyed the weekend and would be happy to recommend the place ☺️

Very quiet location near the lake. Nice little house. We spent an extended week in the house, had a barbecue and lit a cosy fireplace in the evening. We travelled by car and can recommend a trip to Karlovy Vary and Loket Castle.

The house is situated in a large, fully fenced off garden which gave me a peace of mind and allowed me to let me doggie run freely. The house is fantastic. A great coffee machine, fireplace and the two large windows provide incredible views. The surrounding area is perfect. There is a beautiful path around the lake that is lit up at night. It felt safe and well kept. It takes around 2hrs to walk round in a slow pace. The path is accessible directly from the rear gate from the house. Overall, we have had a relaxing time in the middle of the forrest. It was peaceful and exactly what we hoped for. We will be back. Best wishes

The cabin is very pleasant and spacious. It is located in a very quiet place only 8 minutes by car from Semily where there are supermarkets and restaurants.

You will feel right at home in the HarzHirsch house! The rooms are furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen has top equipment and everything you need. With the two bathrooms, the house is also wonderful for 2 couples. Isabella was super accessible and clarified our questions within a few minutes. In the village, you have shopping facilities and the area is very quiet and idyllic. Always happy to come back - a big recommendation ✨😊

An absolutely fantastic cottage! Beautifully and stylishly furnished - every detail selected with love. The garden is huge and just perfect for relaxing, with its own separate area for us. We were with a larger group of friends at Ingrid's accommodation. The house with the property is fantastic. Remote, quiet but still close to excursions, restaurants and supermarkets. The place is as described and very well equipped. Check-in was flexible and straightforward. Contact with Ingrid was always quick and friendly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a very relaxed time. The house is an oasis of tranquility. Great lakeside location. Plenty of space for the kids to play football. Everything is very clean, very thoughtful and high-quality. In short: we would like to come back :-)

We stayed at Christoph&Marcus's coach trip for three nights and had wonderful days & time together with friends. The place is exactly as described and we didn't lack anything. We are passionate about the hospitality and loving work that the two invest in the renovation of the estate. We are grateful that they shared this with us as guests. We spent a long weekend at Mildred's and it was wonderful! We were warmly welcomed with a little surprise! The accommodation and the surroundings are great and both the adults and the kids get their money's worth. It is very rural, so it is perfect for a small break from city life - but you are also in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in twenty minutes. Mildred and her husband were great hosts who were always available to us when we had a concern. We had a great weekend in this idyll and can absolutely recommend a stay with Mildred and her family!
