Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

Sie ist zentral in Eisenach gelegen mit kurzen Wegen zum Zentrum, zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Touristenattraktionen sowie zur einzigartigen Natur im Thüringer Wald! Unser Kinderzimmer befindet sich direkt über der Ferienwohnung. Wir geben unser bestes, dennoch können entsprechende Geräusche zu hören sein.

The newly renovated apartment is located in the east of Eisenach, in the green and quiet Karolinental. On foot, you need 15 minutes to the old town and 10 minutes to the train station. Eisenach's sights, such as the Wartburg and the Drachenschlucht, are easily accessible. We offer you: a separate small kitchen (fully equipped with fridge, microwave, ceramic hob) and a bathroom with tub, as well as a room with a new box spring bed (140 × 200 cm), TV, Wi-Fi, large wardrobe and seating for dining.

The mezzanine apartment is equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed and crib, washing machine, dishwasher, separate bicycle storage, etc. The southern quarter includes the colonies of Predigerhöhe, Marienhöhe, Karthäuserhöhe, Mariental as well as areas at the Rhododendron Garden and the Waldschänke, the area below the Wartburg.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

All famous sights, such as Wartburg (Unesco World Heritage Site), Bach and Luther House, City Palace, Fraternity Monument, Dragon Gorge and the Automobile Museum are within walking distance. In just 2 minutes to the city center with numerous shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Welcome Kati and Axel Rommel.

Get comfortable and enjoy plenty of room for up to 4 people at this spacious place. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. Bus and regional train are a 5-minute walk. Massage offers can be booked in the house according to availability. You have a living room with fully equipped kitchen and sleeping accommodation for 1 person (box spring bed) or simple sofa bed. From 2 people additional bedroom with double bed (160 × 200). Dog's are welcome.
