Surrounded by the University of Hamburg and the Hamburg Fair ground, the room I offer is a loving and attention to detail furnished guest room for 2 people with breakfast room and hallway, private entrance door into elaborately renovated old building (3m to the ceiling with stucco), old wooden floor and shared bathroom (Shower and bath). I’m an artist and designer, and have been welcoming guests from around the world for years now. I was born and raised in Hamburg, so I am no “Quiddje” (a newcomer) as they say in Hamburg and happy about giving insider tips which you cannot find in any travel guide. A rich and varied breakfast is included in the price (vegetarian breakfast can also be arranged). The accommodation is perfectly connected to bus and subway lines and to Dammtor / Central Station it is only a few stops on the bus route 4/5. The room is very sunny, furnished with unique design pieces and contemporary art. The house, which was built in 1897 , is located in a quiet and green backyard of one of the liveliest, great neighborhoods of Hamburg. Attractive neighborhoods (Schanzenpark, Schanzenviertel, St. Pauli, Eimsbüttel, Eppendorf, Fairgrounds / TV Tower, Townhall Hamburg, Karolinenviertel, downtown, Alster, the harbor) are within walking distance, or a short time by bus or train. If you want to discover the neighborhood by bike you can rent one of ours for free. The Grindel quarter (Grindelviertel) in Rotherbaum is a well-established neighborhood, dominated by young, student environment, with its cozy pubs, cafes and restaurants for every taste. Besides the first and oldest cinema of the republic, the Abaton cinema you can find many cultural attractions and shopping around the campus. Dear guests, The property to be rented is located in the second row on the Elbchaussee. You can share the garden (large trampoline with basketball hoop). The Himmelsleiter and thus the stairs to the Elbe beach are a 2-minute walk away. There you can enjoy a coffee in the Strandperle or the Ahoi and eat a little something. Internet is available and may be used. Shopping (bakery, butcher) can be found within walking distance of 5-10 minutes in Liebermannstrasse.

Sit back and relax in this quiet, stylish accommodation in the middle of St. Pauli. As a design lover, you will feel particularly comfortable here and live very centrally in downtown Hamburg. Get to know Hamburg's colorful and diverse district best from here. It's only a 5-minute walk from the apartment to the Elbe - the fish market takes place there every Sunday morning. The trendy Schanzenviertel with bars and restaurants is also right around the corner.

Room on the outskirts of the city with private bathroom

Hi, i rent a room in a semi-detached house with garden on the outskirts of Hamburg. The Krupunder S-Bahn station is a 10-minute walk away. I live in the apartment, together with a friend. When the weather is nice, you are welcome to use the garden. There is a microwave and a kettle in the kitchen. Otherwise, I use the room as a private guest room, so it is not completely cleared out (see photo with the shelf). However, there is enough free storage space.

In my 80 sqm apartment I rent two rooms with a private balcony and full bathroom. An approx. 16 sqm room with king size double bed (180 x 200) and an approx. 13 sqm room with single bed (80 x 200). A small fridge with drinks, breakfast snack, Senseo coffee machine and kettle are available for guests. Public transport is about 180 m away. Reeperbahn and Fischmarkt are within walking distance.

In the countryside with a balcony

Sunny, quiet room. 10 min. walk to Ottensen. Very close: 4 bus lines. Since April 2022, it has been a resident parking zone. I can issue visitor parking tickets for €4 per day. You have your own shower room. In the morning there is a small breakfast. But: The kitchen is my private realm. No long-term bookings and noisy guests.
