Here the kids can swim, and we have fishing rights for salmon here. Possibility to rent a hot tub all year round (outdoor wood fired hot tub) for NOK 1,500 extra. The cabin is located in the heart of Stapnes coastal fort, with great hiking opportunities. There are tame sheep and horses on the farm that you can pet, a super activity for children. 10 min (by car) to Egersund city centre where you will find cosy cafes, bakery and shops.

Lille Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with housing and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a reef at the end of Rekefjord. Original furniture from the time when the lighthouse keepers and their families lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, storage rooms, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and a small kitchen that has been converted into an extra bedroom. There is also a boat garage attached to the lighthouse, this is decorated for outdoor fun and simple dining.

By car you can reach Norway's famous attraction - Preikestolen, the charming wooden town of Egersund and Stavanger.

There are countless hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. Fishing opportunities in Bjerkreimselva (Fish card necessary). Here there is no wifi, television or other disturbances. If, on the other hand, you enjoy the sound of birds chirping, crackling in the fire pan and sheep bells, you will surely enjoy yourself.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.
