Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. The cabin is best suited for up to 5 people.

Enjoy the silence on the terrace in front of the fire pit, with beautiful views of the river and mountains. Find the tranquility of hiking in nature that is in the immediate vicinity. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river just below the cabin. The cabin is only a short walk away from Vøringsfossen, a very well-known attraction in Eidfjord. 20 minutes by car takes you to the center of Eidfjord. There is great hiking terrain around the cabin, and it is only a short drive to hiking opportunities on Hardangervidda Towels and bed linen must be brought.

Well-equipped and modern apartment in Maurset, only 10 minutes to Hardangervidda National Park and 10 minutes to Vøringsfossen. A perfect place to stay if you are going to experience Norway. Welcome to our beautiful cabin! The cabin was built in the summer of 2022 and is located in a fantastic mountain area a little above Vøringsfoss, at the foot of Hardangervidda National Park. The cabin has two parking spaces in a private parking lot belonging to Åstestølen cabin area. There is a municipal road all the way to the parking lot and a short walk to the cabin, on a gravel path. It is a very quiet and established cottage area with nice neighbors. Short way to the convenience store at Maurset, alpine facilities and marked trails

Short driving distance to Vøringsfossen. It is 20 min to Eidfjord. There are 2 cots for 0-2 years. 1 junior bed. 1 high chair, 2 junior chairs Toys and puzzles for children.

About 50 meters from the cabin you will find illuminated and prepared cross-country ski trails and since the back of the plot is hilly, it is well suited as a toboggan run in winter.

The cabin is located at the foot of Hardangervidda with endless hiking opportunities.
