We were very pleased. The accommodation is very centrally located, charging station for e-cars virtually on the doorstep, as well as (paid) parking, shops and attractions within walking distance, in the accommodation everything was available that you need, communication with the hosts was also very good. We had an all-round successful stay with Nicole and Helga! The apartment was very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped - ideal for our three-day hiking holiday in the Thuringian Forest. Nicole and Helga are exceptionally warm and accommodating hosts. Upon arrival, we felt immediately welcome. Even during our stay, they were at our side with valuable tips about the area. After extensive hikes in the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest, we were able to end the day in the evening relaxing on the balcony – simply wonderful! Thank you for the great time – we will be happy to come back!

Beautiful and luxurious apartment. Good bed, lovely roof terrace and beautiful bathroom. Distance to the centre is easily reached on foot. Private parking is very convenient. Recommended!

The apartment was absolutely top! Everything was super clean, cozily furnished and well equipped from comfortable beds to towels to linens and blankets. The large bathtub was particularly beautiful! The host was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, especially for hiking lovers right near the Kickelhahnweg. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation!

The castle is great for a family reunion. Plenty of space, clean, sufficient dishes and generally well thought-out kitchen equipment. Even toys for children are thought of. We will be happy to come back!

All-round successful stay also because I immediately felt at home. Everything was available and worked immediately, Alex was always available when I had questions and I was very happy with Alex's helpful welcome package. The surroundings are pleasantly quiet and, in addition to work, I was able to go on various hikes directly from the apartment. I'd love to come back!

There were four of us at Tim's place over the long Pentecost weekend. Despite the really cheap overnight price, we received a few small welcome gifts, such as wine and fruit. In addition, all the utensils you need, such as baking paper, coffee filters, etc., are available in the kitchen. The apartment is quite small, but well laid out and above all sweetly furnished and decorated. The area is quiet, as the apartment is behind the house and therefore away from the street. In the small village itself, you can't do that much, but you can get to Bad Staffelstein, Bamberg or Coburg in a short time by car.

We had a great time in Claudia's beautiful apartment! The location by the lake is wonderfully idyllic and the apartment is very modern and tastefully furnished. Everything we needed was there. Claudia always responded to messages in a friendly and quick manner. We can fully recommend Claudia and her apartment and would love to come back!

We loved our stay in this spacious renovated apartment. We liked the huge bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped (but no microwave which is usual for us but apparently common in Germany). The apartment is in a quiet area a short walk to the city centre. Nice balcony too! Sebastian was a delightful host, always available to answer any questions or offer suggestions. Checkin and out was so simple too. Highly recommend this apartment.

We spent a wonderful week in Christine's apartment. The welcome was warm and everything was prepared for the baby and my grandson (6 years old) .... Cot, high chair, toys, etc. We were able to use the pool actively and relax in the very well-kept garden. Thank you!

Highly recommended for a study trip as well as a city trip! There is everything you need. Versatile shopping and various restaurants in the area. The train station and city centre are within easy walking distance. Unfortunately, my last longer stay in Schmalkalden for the time being. I will miss it. Thank you and best regards,

Ideal for two nights and a great starting point for our exploration of Ilmenau and its surroundings. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and welcomed with cake. Communication went smoothly. It was a nice stopover on our journey from Hamburg to Garmisch. We felt comfortable and were able to take a nice hike directly from the apartment.

We booked Stefan and Gülay's apartment at very short notice. Communication was incredibly fast and very pleasant. The accommodation is in the middle of the old town and is highly recommended. Everything is tasteful, carefully and stylishly furnished - just as shown in the pictures. Access by car, parking, etc. are easily feasible as described. We would come back anytime!
