Thanks to the central location in Braunfels, sights, restaurants and shopping facilities are within easy reach. The surrounding area also invites you to explore the sights and go on long bike rides. The Orthopaedic Clinic and the Braunfels Neurological Clinic are nearby and can be reached on foot in just 5 and 15 minutes respectively. There is also a charging station for electric cars in the immediate vicinity and sheltered storage space for e-bikes or motorcycles on the property.

In the stables – side by side with chickens and horses

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.

The apartment is located on the ground floor of a former hotel and was completely renovated in 2017/18. Wetzlar's city center is about 3 km away. Restaurant with a nice beer garden nearby. Shopping is about 900 meters away. A private parking space, as well as free Wi-Fi, are of course available. For arrivals after 9 pm, our keyboy is at your disposal. The apartment is comparable to a "junior suite" in a hotel. Privacy is guaranteed.

Vacation home on the edge of the forest "Silberhaus" with sauna

We rent a beautiful, cozy cottage. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former Maria pit right on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. With its high-quality facilities and a number of extras, such as an infrared cabin, a wood-burning stove, a sauna on the terrace with an outdoor shower, a large terrace with a view of the forest, and much more, our holiday home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.
