🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Here the kids can swim, and we have fishing rights for salmon here. Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.
