Holiday rentals with a patio in Eel River

This is a great place tucked away in the forest right on the river. Charles is just starting this place up for Airbnb rentals and is putting a lot of thought into making Guest feel comfortable. Seriously a great host. Would probably give you the shirt off of his back. I felt really at home here. Five stars across-the-board is a given.

What a terrific find in the heart of Arcata. So close to the Plaza and great restaurants. Fabulous accommodations!!

We stayed in the apartment just for one night to get rest and continue our trip, it was a lovely place to enjoy for more days, we hope to get back soon

The apartment was spacious, beautiful and clean in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was close to great food and a brewery which was perfect for me after a long day of work. 10/10 recommend and I would stay there again!

Excellent location, such a cute little place - the perfect amount of space for a studio at a very reasonable price. I appreciated Noa’s communication and flexibility - made my trip a lot smoother. Overall, lovely!

Overall nice place! We had a hiccup getting into the house but Alessandra called me very fast and we solved the problem in minutes.

Wow! I can’t believe what a wonderful oasis Katie’s place is! Even more impressive, spacious, and inviting than the photos. The back patio and fire table is a gem, the beds are perfect, and the entire home is spotless. We were greeted and given an intro to the home, and welcomed with homemade scones, great cheese, fruit, cream, and even beverages in the fridge! This place is such a good location and value, and Katie and her husband make it that much better.

We so loved staying here. It was so peaceful, the home was beautiful and clearly a place where there has been a lot of love. Peter was wonderful - very friendly and responsive and he sent us some great local recommendations. Thanks so much for providing such a peaceful environment to relax between day trips. We so loved meeting GoForth, Guin and the puppy. 🥰

Loved the home. Very clean. Liked that we had a small yard for our dog to roam after a long drive. Great place to stay if you’re exploring California. It was like going home after a day of site seeing. :)

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

This place is pure paradise! The ocean view is absolutely stunning, and the black sand beach just a small walk away makes it feel like a hidden gem. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves and watched pelicans and ospreys fly by—it was magical. The home was spotless when we arrived, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. The beds were super comfortable with high-quality linens, and we all slept great every night. The kitchen was a major highlight—huge, modern, and fully stocked with any appliance we needed. Whether we were cooking a full meal or just enjoying coffee with a view, it was perfect. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and beautifully maintained beach escape!

This house looked exactly like the photos! The view from the house was absolutely gorgeous! This worked out perfectly for our family trip to the Redwoods.

Lovely home — the house was clean and comfortable. Great for one night’s stay in Eureka on our way from Redwoods down to Mendocino. Stocked with the essentials and house was spaciousness for our family of four’s fam trip. It’s located on a main road so you can hear street noise during the day in the front bedroom with the king bed, but the road quiets down in the evening and wasn’t an issue trying to fall asleep (as someone who is relatively sensitive to street noise).

Where do I start?! This is literally THE best Airbnb we've ever been to. The setting was amazing, you felt isolated but only 5 minutes away from the city. Our host was absolutely amazing. kind, responsive, willing to help w/ anything The house was amazingly decorated, super quiet inside, and you felt like you were home. Don't get me started on the claw foot bathtubs on the back deck, they are to die for! Full plumbing with hot water yet completely private. The backyard could be amazing for a wedding reception, a retreat, anything! The amenities are aplenty, there was nothing that you would need to ask for. You literally felt like you were home and had everything you could need. Pauline is awesome. She met us when we arrived and she was so friendly and kind that we felt like we had known her forever We would stay here again multiple times over.. I saw that a few people left 4-star reviews. to me that is asinine, this place is a 5 plus star place 10 xs over!

1st time in Humboldt. came for a graduation from SoCal. we rented both spaces upper and lower and it was perfect for our family group. We wanted to be away from the city and this place was its own little slice of farmland heaven. the quiet, the starts, the deer on the meadow. We spent a lot of time outside at the fire pit and the home was fully equipped so cooking grass fed rib eyes on his cast iron was the 🍒 on top. only 15 mins away from DT Eureka as well will come back and highly recommend if your looking for a nature filled vacation

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

The place was and the view were better than we expected! such a beautiful spot, clean and a easy walk down the trail to the beach. we will 100% be booking again. 100/10! Simy was super helpful giving us tips and suggestions and responded very fast!

Had an amazing night staying at your place, The Exquisite. Check in was easy after getting cell service. My group, of 4, loved having a working, clean hot tub with a view after getting off the LCT after 4 days. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely keep your place in mind when we plan for our next trip at shelter cove.
