Colin's place is a really good-sized and well-equipped apartment that had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The location right next to the Water of Leith is great, and you can get into town easily by walking, bus or tram, plus there's loads to explore in the local area. Having secure parking was a real bonus too. Colin is a kind and caring host, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we could book in after another booking was cancelled at short notice.

James has a very nice place to enjoy Edinburgh. Great location, very close to the train station, easy to get to main attractions. James is very nice and communicative, my family and I are coming back for sure.

The house was extremely clean and well-kept with all basic amenities provided. We did not have to worry about anything since our host Xiaoling made sure that everything was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful yet affordable place in the heart of Edinburgh.

The place was in a great location, felt private while not feeling disconnected and a stones throw from a bus that took us where we wanted to go. place was clean and spacious and was perfect for the time we were there. Highly recommend.

Leith is a beautiful place to stay, away from the overly touristy area of Edinburgh. Quaint and peaceful. Lovely pubs and eateries. Emily was always responsive with communication. Lovely apartment, well stocked kitchen.

Perfect location within walking distance to trams. Shammi’s place is beautiful and did not disappoint. Great communication and seamless check in. Would definitely return if I ever found myself in Edinburgh again.

Beautiful location. View from the small balcony is a post card. Would have appreciated instructions on how to use the oven for us North American challenged visitors.

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

Great cottage, very well kitted out, lovely touches and the previous reviews on the comfiness of the beds was very accurate. We managed to sit out for breakfast in the beautiful garden. Great location, easy to get around. Would recommend a walk down to Pan Ha and some food in the Harbour masters cafe ( book first) We discovered that we had lost the front door key at 9pm on Friday night. Response was so quick it was so appreciated. We had tired kids and just wanted to go back to the house. We got a replacement key within 20 mins! If they will have us back we would definitely book again 😁

Second time staying here as it’s perfect for a family of four. My children love watching the planes and trains from the living room and have lots of space to play, and enjoyed exploring the garden. The house is very comfortable and cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. Definitely need a car to stay here as it’s a long way from any public transport but it was a great base for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area.

What a beautiful place to stay for a family visit to Edinburgh. This 5 bed house sits right next to a loch but is also only 10 minutes from 2 supermarkets and numerous take aways and restaurants. A 30 minute drive into Edinburgh was manageable and straightforward also. The owners, Theresa and David live next door and were friendly and helpful. I could not fault this stay at all, it was just what we wanted. Thank you so much, Theresa and David.

Spacious house with character and street parking opposite the sea. Half hour drive to Edinburgh, slightly longer on the bus. Recommended.

Caroline, along with her amazing staff, made our family feel immediately welcomed and cared for, as though we were an extension of her own family. The estate was absolutely breathtaking to behold in person. The only thing that made an equal impression was the hospitality received that was above and beyond our expectations. Caroline and the Cairns Farm staff were not only very professional, they were very supportive, approachable, and responsive to every request we had, which in turn enhanced the experience for our family to become the most impactful and successful time we’ve spent together. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness nor put into words my gratitude for the experience of a lifetime the Cairns Farm Estate facilitated for us. We will be returning as soon as possible. Thank You Again!!!!

Sophie and Gavin were wonderful hosts in this fabulous Airbnb! We felt so at home in this gorgeous, characterful property. It was spotless, well appointed, and of such high quality all around. The location was super, easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, the Highlands, etc. But yet you get to come home in the afternoon/evening to a spacious, cozy house set in the perfect village of Culrss, which itself has a Loy going for it (Pub, Abbey, Palace, etc.)

Maria's place exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pristine and cozy getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how immaculate and well-kept everything was. The cleanliness was top-notch, making the space feel fresh and inviting. The coziness of this place was truly exceptional. The decor was charming and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Maria was incredibly hospitable and responsive.

Luc was an amazing host , took care of minute details .The apartment was clean and very comfortable.I would 100% recommend this if you are visiting Edinburgh.

Katie was a great host (very responsive and helpful with check-in and check-out). The flat was in a great location, a short walk from the beach. The living room was comfy with nice big windows to let the sunlight in. The bed was nice and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, as well as some handy pantry items. The parking bay provided with the flat was a plus, making it convenient to get to a supermarket or explore the surrounding area. Overall had a lovely stay.

We (family of 5) had an absolutely lovely stay at Julia’s flat in Edinburgh. The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished, and incredibly comfortable, just as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay, and the well-connected to the city’s main attractions (bus number 9). Julia was a responsive, friendly, and helpful host throughout our stay. Her detailed check-in instructions made everything seamless, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches in the flat that made us feel right at home. Loved the location in a lovely town with easy access to groceries, restaurants and pubs. Walking trails all around with incredible views. Easy access to Edinburgh with multiple options for travel from train, trams and buses. Also quick on/off if driving north to see the beautiful Scotland coastline and towns. Apartment had wonderful views and a well stocked kitchen. Host was very responsive.

We had a great stay in Brian's apartment. Instructions for getting key were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was spotless and had everything required for a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed having the patio area to sit in for morning coffee or an evening refreshment. Easy local transport links to city centre are very close by. Pubs, restaurants and a large Supermarket are within an easy 10 mins walk. Brian was easy to communicate with and gave us some local recommendations. We would recommend Brian's apartment and will book again if its available when we are visiting Edinburgh again in the future.

Cool neighbourhood to stay in. Bus stop was right outside but we took an Uber anywhere we needed to go. David left a binder for us which had friendly advice of places to eat in the area which came in handy. Was nice to be able to drop off our bags early before check in!

Very nice apartment. All amenities were present. Quiet surroundings, with the river in the background as white noise. Neil left clear instructions and responded quickly.
