It is within walking distance of Lake Edersee and the forests of the Kellerwald National Park high above the lake in Edertal-Bringhausen. The light accompanies you throughout the day. In the morning it greets you in the conservatory, wanders around the house during the day until you enjoy the last rays of sunshine on the terrace in the evening with a good meal and a glass of wine.

Vacation home “alte Feuerwehr“

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Beautifully located apartment right on the water. Our lovingly furnished apartment is located on the ground floor of a half-timbered house in Guxhagen, which was renovated in 2017. The house has a plot on the Fulda with a jetty, which is located opposite the house, on the other side of the R1 cycle path. Before the construction of the Fulda bridge, our house was the old ferry house of Guxhagen. Boats and bikes are available to our guests.

The open living room with a fireplace and its complete glass front and the open kitchen creates an inviting atmosphere in which you will immediately feel comfortable. The location is unique: You have a beautiful view of the countryside and access to a stream. As parents, we have equipped the house toddler-friendly.

Stylish historic half-timbered courtyard, combined with modern interior design and the latest technology. Hiking riders are welcome. The landscape invites you to hike (Kaufunger Forest, Münden Nature Park), cycle, but also to visit Kassel or Göttingen (e.g. World Heritage Site Kassel Bergpark). Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Apartment is on the 1st floor and fully equipped. It has a bright living room with large double bed and flat screen TV, a balcony to the south side of the lake, a newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet as well as an open kitchen with dishwasher and dining area. Towels and linens are included. Beds are already occupied when you arrive so you can start your holiday right away.

Vacation home 20 in the forest by the lake Twistesee vacation

Our cottage 20 can accommodate up to 4 people in two bedrooms. The log cabin is right on the edge of the forest, is child-friendly and has its own parking space in front of the door. If you want to work on vacation, you can do this comfortably at the desk and use the existing Wi-Fi. Dogs are also welcome. The Twistesee can be reached quickly in about 300 meters.
