Clean and comfortable. Location is quiet in nice country area. A short 15 mins drive to Fukui. We had a good stay.

This time, I used it as a solo female traveler. The spacious and close sky, the babbling of a river that flows nearby, the birds, and the charm of the natural modern town filled my mind and body before I entered the old house where I stayed.⛰️ An old house filled with a lot of owner's dedication.When you open the door, the earthen floor that jumped into your eyes first was really attractive. "Wow!Great! "I heard it. I had work at night and was working on my PC, but my husband and artisan were so nice that I spent almost in the dirt with love for the floor with handmade lacquer. Lol It is a newly opened, and it is a really nice place to stay that combines a new and renewed sense of cleanliness and ease of stay, while feeling the 100-year-old history.✨ In addition, my wife is a former nursery worker and a toy consultant, and I was impressed by the many wooden toys selected from the perspective of childcare workers, as well as babies and easy to spend time with, and I was impressed by how many generations can be enjoyed by all generations.😊 There were also colorful wildflowers on the property, and my cute and cute son took me to a place where I could pick yomo, serie, and asatsuki, and I enjoyed the harvest.(The harvesting basket is also cute!)It was delicious because it was okay to cook and eat.♡ I enjoyed the view in April this time, but it became a place I wanted to visit again and again, looking forward to the expression of Imadachi, which changes depending on the season.🏠 I will definitely go again!

The host went above and beyond what I had expected in hosting my family and I! Enjoyed my stay at Fukui and was worry free about the accommodation as the host was very friendly and clear with the instructions. English labels were present throughout the house and made the stay easier on us as non Japanese speaking travellers.

とても素敵なお家です。近代と昔が良く両立されています。駅とバス停はすぐ近くにあるので永平寺等、このエリアの参拝、観光スポットを旅するのに良い拠点です。シャワー用品等の生活に必要なものはほぼ全部備わっています。 The host is helpful, friendly, and good with English so it's no problem if you don't speak Japanese. There's lots to check out in the house from art to cultural items, to books of Japanese art. Of course, there's the house itself, especially the living/main room and exterior to appreciate the traditional Japanese architecture.
