Beachfront holiday rental in Eastern Visayas

My family and I had a fantastic experience with Sand Castle Villa . The booking process was smooth, the host was communicative and friendly, and the property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I appreciated the personal touches and local recommendations. Definitely a more unique and homey experience than a typical Airbnb stay. Highly recommend! ☺️👌🏼

Spacious and clean home for our family of 6 adults! The outdoor area, pool deck, and dining room were perfect for the many visitors we received and entertained over our weeklong stay. We did a lot of cooking and appreciated the kitchen fully stocked with ample pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishware and cutlery. The strong A/C and swimming pool were refreshing amenities to come home to each day. While the water pressure isn’t as strong as our U.S. standards, having 3 full bathrooms was great. The live in family of caretakers use the bedroom next to the kitchen and stayed out of our way for the most part, but be aware they do walk around the outside premises throughout the day. They conveniently provided tricycle service when we needed it and replenished the drinking water often. The only negative (which is out of the owner’s control) is the music from the karaoke bars nearby which you can hear until after 1am every night! Otherwise a truly enjoyable stay and we will stay again!

This was our first stay here and we are happy to say that everything was exactly as it was described. The grounds are beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. You can easily walk down to the beach, play some bad mitton/vollyball or grill outside. The staff onsite was super responsive and very helpful. (had charcoal for the grill handy and san miguel for us when we ran out :) It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or small family gathering. The View the view the view :) so awesome!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless – the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The amenities provided were top-notch and added a lot of convenience throughout my visit. The location is also ideal, situated right beside the national highway, making it easy to travel and explore the area. Despite its proximity to the road, the property remained peaceful and quiet inside. What really stood out was the staff – they were incredibly nice and accommodating, always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located place with great service. I’d definitely stay here again!

House only for you! Everything works well, easy to find it after arrival. Private entrance, well equipped kitchen, so you can easily cook. The owner provides drinking water (highly appreciate)! You can easily cook your own meals, no worries about food availability on the island. Ask local, where to buy fresh fish, squid, chicken on the farm. Vegetable was always available, no problem with cooking at all. Even there is no carenderia on the island. There is second accommodation on the island (RL), but they cook only simple *log food(cornsilog,longsilog etc). So if you want eat healthier eat, cook easily by yourself. RL is good for short stay only. Internet works well, on acceptable level. Globe has very limited coverage, you need go uphill. Carnaza is super charming island, stay at least one week and visit all beaches around the island! So worthy, beautiful beaches here! No tourists! Locals are friendly, it’s real authentic Philippino experience! Whole island is easily walkable ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only small issues were the occasional power outages and the lack of blinds on the big windows, which made it a bit hard to sleep in or nap during the day.

A great place to relax, swim, dive, etc. Transportation to the market or island tour was organized by Bill and Christina. An absolutely peaceful place. We'll be back!

Beautiful unit Accommodating Responsive Clean place Child Friendly place

Charmaine and Jet were very nice and responsive. They were very accommodating with our requests. The caretakers likewise were very helpful and friendly, always nearby and ready to respond to our concerns. The place was beautiful and really nice to relax. Everything was completely provided for. The only thing is that the place is not senior-friendly since there are steps going to the house and going down to the beach. The beach though was nice with your own private area. On the whole, it’s a great place to enjoy your summer vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was great if you want to just relax but also a great distance from the city if you want to explore more. She’s very good at communicating and responds quickly to our questions. Thank you and we will definitely come back!

Nice place to stay. With complete things like you're just at home. There are nearby convenience store, ATM, supermarket, restaurants, food street..etc. Lapulapu shrine is also a walk away like a nice way to have a walk exercise. Also favorable for jogging around the open area near mactan newtown beach entrance. Just like the other reviews, the only issue here is the smell of the bathroom that suddenly comes out. What we did is just cover the drains and close the toilet bowl cover. Overall it still was a great stay. Thanks Myrlin for being responsive to all my questions.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in La Mactan, Cebu. The place was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and had a stunning view. The pool was a highlight, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to shops and restaurants. They also offered custom tour packages at much better rates than other providers, which made our island hopping experience even more enjoyable. We also rented a scooter through them, which was both affordable and reliable. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. While the bed was a bit firm and slightly short for tall Europeans, it didn’t impact our overall experience. It truly felt like a vacation, and we’d happily stay here again!

We really enjoyed the place. When I was reading the reviews, I was a little bit worried about the mosquitoes. But nothing to worry about, not a lot of mosquitos. I think because the care takers were amazing - they were very clean, they took care of the place really well, they were also very friendly and helpful. I really like that the place is well maintain. took care of us really well, by husband wants to stay longer. It is such a beautiful place, we will not forget the care takers.

Whenever I go to Cebu to travel or work, I use Airbnb to stay at the Tambul resort residence. This Airbnb accommodation was one of the most expensive, but the view and interior facilities were the most perfect, so it was worth it.

Second time staying at Gina’s place. My favorite place to stay near Sogod bay because of the beautiful views. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, with access to the water and no street noise. The place was very clean and the caretakers are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful place! Would be interested to come again. The place is peaceful and pretty. They also are in an area where the phone data is really fast (because it differs a lot in different parts of the island) so even if the wifi is limited we can still use data.

From the moment our family were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained space. The location was peaceful and walkable. The accomodation itself was spacious and squeaky clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. Thomas was very helpful and responsive. He was very considerate of our plight (with our change of plans due to typhoon Kristin). Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Gwen's place was really serene. It's peaceful---I can only hear the birds chirping and the waves hitting the cliff. The morning sunrise was also superb on her place. I'd definitely go back for a longer stay next time. Oh Gwen and her staff were also the most accomodating hosts so far. Arranged a tour for me, made sure I was doing fine in my stay. 😊

This house with the gazebo and the entire grounds with private beach area is a very nice place to relax and feel good. The view of the sea is incomparably beautiful. The house manager was always there for us if we needed anything. It is about a 25 minute drive from Bogo, so it is recommended to have a scooter or a car. I would rent this house again anytime. We were there for over a month and felt very comfortable at all times.
