It's an old, tiny, cosy, friendly hostel for backpacker, with and lovely swimmpool! thanks for welcome me for few days.

We had a great stay at On The Wallaby. Paul was a great host and very welcoming. We had a group of 16 staying and there was something for everyone. Games for the kids, a speaker with Spotify for the adults. Paul even offered to get us some food as we were arriving late in the evening. We would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone!

I am visiting Port Elliot Beach House for the third time. This time I stayed in an ensuite balcony room. It is a two-room small apartment with a fridge, TV, microwave and kettle. It can accommodate 4 people plus two on the sofa. In the building downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridges and three large rooms for relaxation. The house is located in a beautiful place with a view of the ocean and close to the beach. It is served by very friendly staff. I recommend this place to anyone who likes peace and long walks by the ocean.

Ted place is accommodating regardless gender, preference. Wish more placese like these in south Australia.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was a shared bathroom, but the bathrooms were so clean and nice and everyone was very friendly.

My previous experience of youth hostels (in general) has been a bit rough & left a little to be desired… Thankfully, those grim days were over the moment we stepped into YHA in the Rocks. The communal areas were clean, orderly & filled with light. Our room was clean, fresh, surprisingly spacious and really quiet (given the motorway outside the building & local bars). The rooftop bar was a peaceful escape serving reasonably priced booze and food. Great location with restaurants, bars, transport, and the harbour nearby. Would 100% stay here again next time we visit Sydney.

Location was amazing and the view from the rooftop bar was incredible. We watched the Vivid fireworks and lights with a talented musician playing. Great offers on drinks too. Friendly, courteous and approachable staff. Stayed with young children, portacot was provided and the private room was just like a hotel room. It seemed brand new and was so clean. Could not hear noise from any other guests. Continental breakfast was good value and set us up for a day of exploring. Would highly recommend and would be keen to go back when next in Sydney!

This place! It is so apparent that the owners love what they do, as there is so much care put into every detail. Rooms are cleaned so well between each guest, rules are respectfully given without being obnoxious, and they are followed by guests, which means the kitchen, dishes, bathrooms, common areas are kept clean, roommates are generally quiet and respectful, and the peaceful, tropical setting is a perfect place to just chill. Highly recommend staying here!

This place is a hostel!! Making that clear. Otherwise, this place was awesome. My fiance and I didn’t get the same room, which was unexpected and disappointing, but the overall experience made up for it. The outdoor showers were amazing!! But they also had indoor options if prefer. Overall, the place was adorable and very nice.

Well located and perfect for a stopover on a trip. The price is very fair.
