This private, spacious, fully equipped apartment above an owner-occupied home is perfect for one or two adults, and has its own entrance. It occupies the entire second floor of my home, which was built in 1912, and combines the charming “Cape Cod” style architecture of that era with modern conveniences. Lots of windows, closet space, built-in drawers and storage make for an enjoyable stay for a night or a month! Location Minutes from Providence in a quiet residential neighborhood on East Narragansett Bay. A short block from the East Bay Bike Path, extending 14.5 mi from Providence to Bristol. Jog, walk, bike or blade, and enjoy views of coastal wetlands and nature preserves. Haines Memorial State Park is just a block away for a picnic, catching the sunset on the water, or launching your kayak or other watercraft from the boat ramp. I even have a couple of bikes you can use during your stay! The historic Crescent Park Carousel and seasonal Clam Shack is less than a mile away. The Space Private entrance to 3 large rooms plus full bath with tub/shower. In the cozy bedroom, enjoy a restful night’s sleep on a new pillowtop mattress topping the queen size bed. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glassware, utensils, and pans. Appliances include a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hotplate, Keurig coffeemaker, toaster and blender. The large living room provides plenty of comfortable seating, a flat screen-tv, a desk for your laptop, and a reading nook. The new futon couch converts into a bed to accommodate two single people traveling together who prefer not to share a room. Other info Please be advised that, as is typical of a house of this age and design, the apartment is accessed via a somewhat steep and narrow staircase, and therefore might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Charming 2nd Floor Apartment in Historic Fox Point

Light-filled (4 skylights!) upstairs apartment in 169-year-old home. Cozy and playful decor with a lot of nostalgia. The house has beautiful wide pine plank floors. If you like straight lines, this house is not for you - it's a little wonky, but we find its charm far outmeasures the crooked doorways and other quirks. Located in Fox Point, a 15 min walk to brown, steps from Wickenden and Ives streets, the Newport Ferry, coffee shops, and restaurants, but on a side street out of the way of it all.

We renovated our basement to be a private in-law suite for our mother, with its own entrance (in 2024!) She’s not able to use our 2 bed unit anymore, so we’ve listed it on Airbnb! The space is a thoughtfully designed and decorated apt with privacy in a quiet area, with all the amenities you may need. Our goal is that you’d always feel comfortable, safe, and peaceful!

This dwelling is registered with the State of RI and the City of East Providence. As such, at no time will the property be used for parties or cause a nuisance for other tenants or neighbors.

Perfect hub location for families visiting New England colleges and universities. This cozy 3-bedroom, 2nd floor space is approximately 3 miles Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design and Johnson and Wales University, short walk to neighborhood playground and park, bakery/coffe shop, fine restaurant, 5-minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Great central location for trips to beaches in RI, Newport, Southeastern MA and Cape Cod. Nearby Amtrak access to NY and Boston.

My place is 15 minutes from downtown Providence where there are plenty of restaurants and nightlife, public transport as well as , family-friendly activities. There is a bike path near by. Being such a small state you are close to all the colleges this state has to offer. You’ll love my place because it is a cozy apartment perfect for groups of two or three. One full bed as well as a roll-a-way bed. Notice that at no time will the short term rental be used to host events or parties.

College Hill Modern Gem

Look no further than this beautifully renovated, centrally located space, less than a 10 minute walk to Brown, RISD, JWU, Thayer St, Hope St, Wickenden St, Ives St, the Newport Ferry, Wayland Square and Downtown. This historic neighborhood boasts rich colonial architecture of yesteryear, and critically acclaimed restaurants and eclectic shops of today. This particular spot has arguably the best walkability in the city. Don’t stay anywhere else.

We are offering weekly and longer-term visitors to Providence. Stay in the center of downtown in our fully renovated historic townhouse with updated and modern amenities. Great restaurants, walking distance to water fire and PPAC and RI convention center. Walk to RISD, JWU, Brown. There is no onsite parking. Local parking rates are approx $25.00 per night. Street parking is available in front of the building during the day and evening hours.

Potential basement storage for long-term stays. Ceilings are low in places, may not be comfortable for taller than 6'.
