The Bird Pond

The guest suite is in the center of town, close to most everything. The studio has a separate bathroom and laundry room/kitchenette. Patio in the fenced backyard features a small pond that attracts many birds. There is a large screen TV with cable (including sports) Netflix and Prime Video. The queen Murphy bed has a Purple mattress. There is a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, Kuerig and kettle. Breakfast is provided. An ice chest is available for loan as well as river towels.

You'll enjoy the main house with the best views of Smith Rock and the Cascade mountains. Smith Rock State Park is literally across the street. A great location for outdoor activities at the park or in the region. Hike, climb, bike, walk or jog around the park. Sip tea inside and watch the animals. Perfect for artist and photographers. We built this home out of a passion for creating welcoming spaces. Years ago, we renovated a motel on the coast - an experience that sparked our love of hospitality and shapes how we host today. We live around the corner with our kids, a golden retriever, and a few cats. Mike’s a local realtor, and Betsy manages business ops for the local fire department.
