Christiane and her husband were very hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcomed and felt blessed to share their beautiful space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful experience.

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . Loved watching the light change as the sun went down . Thank you Jennifer and team .

We had a perfect Easter weekend staying at Helen’s beautiful cottage! The home itself is beautifully designed, in a quiet street leafy street of battery point, with beautiful surrounding scenery. We immediately felt at home with the generous provisions Helen left us including fresh bread, preserves, fruit, milk and plenty of teas to name a few! The cottage has a beautiful view and we enjoyed time watching the boats and sitting on the front veranda to enjoy the sun with a book. The cottage is very well equipped and super clean - we all slept so well during our stay and had plenty of space for 4 people. Great cafes and restaurants are a short walk away. Helen was a very kind and responsive host and we were very thankful we could arrange a later check out. We would highly recommend Helen’s cottage for a great weekend away exploring Hobart. We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

Tony's place is incredible. From the space, to the tidiness, and of course the games! It has everything you need and then some. Very clear instructions on how to use all the gadgets and amenities for you to cook and tidy. The complimentary breakfast bits were a lovely touch.

We stayed at Michelle’s lovely property for four days in May 2025. Michelle’s communication was excellent and check in was easy. The property itself is very well equipped with all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the art deco style of the home and its proximity to shops and cafes. This property is wonderful value for money and perfect for a family looking for accommodation in the Moonah area. Thank you Michelle!!

Felicity and Andre’s place was in the perfect location, near the CBD, Salamanca and the wharfs. They are very gracious and generous hosts who added thoughtful snacks, beverages and brekky options to the experience. We were so impressed with these special touches, making it a delight to arrive to. The bed was so comfortable and the spaces were spotless and cosy. We would absolutely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay in Carol's apartment. The location was wonderful and convenient to get to Salamanca market area. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and generously stocked with pantry items. Carol was clear and easy to communicate with.

If I said I would put this place in my pool room, a few would understand, but the actual serenity was unbelievable. We arrived, slightly stressed, extremely tired on my part, to an oasis of calm. From my first night on the deck with a glass of bubbles, to my last with a cup of tea, I felt welcomed and at home. It was lovely. Wendy and Malcolm are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them.

Wow! Well worth it! Unheard of value. The space is very considerate and functional. It has everything you need and more. Bath n shower , great heating, one of the best kitchens I’ve used, a pantry full of quality food and a very comfortable bed all wrapped in an interesting cave at a great location. Best stay in Hobart, it’s clear Yvette has put a lot of thought and love into this place.

This place is amazing!! So beautifuly decorated with many personal touches and delicious home-made treats. Everything about it is spot on and in a beautiful, tranquil, country setting. Hosts are super friendly - we enjoyed our chats & walks through the gardens. Can highly recommend it... we hope to be back!

Couldn't have asked for more, Miro and Edina were super warm, welcoming and friendly and their place was very clean, well stocked with necessary items and amenities and even some complimentary fruits and basic cooking ingredients. The location was very convenient and walkable to many popular eateries and the famous Salamanca Market. The 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets and availability of a washer/dryer was exactly what I was looking for and the surrounding area was quite private and quiet during our stay. will definitely stay again if I happen to go to Hobart again

The most stunning incredible stay. Ben’s place was just as beautiful as the photos! We loved the open space and the great read of all the economical features the place presented. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we needed. The breakfast was a lovely touch and we made the most of the extra provisions for purchase. We will definitely recommend to others and be back again ourselves 🤩

We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The place is very private, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Everything was in order and met our expectations perfectly. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and quiet space to unwind.

Thank you so much Cherly for hosting us, it was a very different experience. Arrived at Cherly with all the essentials we needed, it was cold outside and the room was warm, we felt very comfortable at home. You can also see wombats and kangaroos, it's a very different feeling to see them outside, highly recommended. Breakfast is also very good and hearty.

Absolutely loved Barbara's private retreat. Fell in love with the beautiful space as soon as we walked through the door. Wonderful decor and the most comfiest bed with luxurious linen. Such a spectacular view from the floor to ceiling windows while being snug and cosy. Barbara also showed me her spinning wheel and her lovely arts and crafts. Had a lovely night away and will definitely come back again. Peter also pointed out a beautiful little pademelon eating a carrot by the front door. Such lovely hosts with a beautiful home . Beate is an excellent host. She is thoughful, provided many nice extras, and maintained privacy while being available. I had the studio for three nights and it was most comfortable, tucked off to the side of the house and very quiet and peaceful. The studio is smaller than the main apartment (where I stayed a year or so ago) but ideal for one, or two people for a couple of days. Highly recommended.

Better than the reviews and photos. My daughter and l were most fortunate to come across this very special home. Great host, clear communication and jaw dropping views. Donna was most warm and entertaining, feel very lucky to have stayed. Thanks Donna and April!

Beautiful location, easy to walk to the city within 10 minutes or less, quiet undercroft of a house. Absolutely beautiful inside, comfortable and with plenty of amenities and really kind selection of breakfast supplies. Will definitely stay again!

Mark is a super host, we didn't really had the time to talk a lot but he is really kind. The house is close to mount Wellington, I didn't plan to go at first but it was really close so I went and it was perfect 👌🏻.

This is our second time staying at Strathmore, and we'd love to stay again. We've recommended Graham's place to several friends who have also stayed and honetsly would not choose to stay anywhere else when visiting Hobart. It's just perfect!
