We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

Bird Room - Queen Bed & Private Bath

Smythe house was just what my husband and I were looking for during a cozy fall weekend in the Catskills. We never saw Justine but she was very communicative and responsive to anything we needed. We were late in checking in and she didn’t mind at all. The b&b is in a great location, convenient to hiking trails and other Catskills attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Regal Romantic Luxury Victorian Getaway Catskills

It was absolutely fantastic! Honestly even nicer than we expected. Don’t underestimate the jacuzzi or steam shower. EPIC. Also loved Justine - Very friendly, helpful and good vibes. I particularly liked the dvd collection, as an extra touch. We didn’t even watch any, because we were too busy enjoying the jacuzzi, steam shower and surrounding scenery! Nice coffee, tea, snacks etc. Easy parking, and zero issues. Just all around brilliant. We booked this the morning of day 1 of 2, and we really loved it.

Cozy Room with private bathroom in Victorian home

What a charming home. Cozy room, loved the electric fireplace..spacious private bathroom, super clean and great water pressure (I love a good shower)! Justine and David were super friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. We hope to stay again next October!

Zen Room with private bathroom in Victorian home

Justine was very responsive and flexible with our accommodations. The place is central to Kingston/Saugerties. If you get a chance check out the deck in the back it was great to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I will stay again.

A little pricey for what we got in a single room out of town in the woods with no kitchen or breakfast. we come quite often to run back and stay in many places with two bedrooms, a kitchen, etc., for less. The area around the house has no Wi-Fi so could be difficult getting there sometimes.
