Holiday rentals with beach access in Dutchess County

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!

We are appreciative of a clean place to lay our heads. Cindy’s place is exactly as described. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it was stocked with pots, pans, spices, coffee, and tea. The bathroom was spotless and beautiful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The linens were clean and fragrant free. Cindy was proactive in helping us to check-in, and quickly responded to my texts. People live upstairs, so we did hear some activity, but it was not disruptive in any way. In mid-October, the weather was chilly, and so the room was chilly too. We needed the space heater that was provided. We were grateful for a great stay!

The place is as presented in the listing - very easy to check into, a short drive to a grocery stores and nearby towns, has just about everything you need. Some reviewers have noted the highway traffic noise, but I personally only really noticed in the living room while watching TV. I slept really well here, and the back deck overlooking the creek was great for bird watching in the mornings.

Great place to stay for the money! Walkable distance to a few stores/restaurants in Port Ewen and very short drive to Kingston. Kitchen was nice and included a good assortment of spices and seasonings. Jeffrey was very responsive and helpful- a great host. Overall, would definitely recommend staying at his place. One thing to note is the upstairs neighbors and main road can contribute some noise. However, I did not mind at all and earplugs are provided as well. But, if you are a light sleeper or require peace and quiet this may not be the place for you.

there is a fair amount of traffic noise from the street below if you are not accustomed to that, but I will definitely try to stay here again when I return.

The home is older and comes with a lot of charm and quirks. It is comfortable and walkable to downtown Saugerties. Alex includes a lot of nice touches to make you feel welcome

Georgia’s home is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Even though it was a rainy weekend and we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we wanted, the indoors were just as great. The linens are fresh and cozy, the open-concept layout is great for a group, the kitchen has much of what you need, and the views are spectacular. Also, Georgia is very responsive if you need anything. My group loved our stay.

My family and I really enjoyed Elizabeth property very comfortable and quiet, we definitely thinking about coming back soon.

Still gleaming from an unforgettable stay at Willow Vale which is hands down a 5-star gem! The design of the house is one-of-kind where every detail piques curiosity and wonder. The library stole our hearts from the start, brimming with an extensive book collection and unique treasures. We sat by the fire here every night. The sunroom was the perfect daytime spot where we napped, worked, ate and played games. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the kitchen…we cooked almost every meal. Enjoying the hot tub under the stars was a highlight. We loved that there was a telescope and took advantage of it. The river was serene with a perfect swimming hole…and cold plunge! The house is secluded and there is so much to do nearby. It’s truly the land of hidden gems. Stissing House for dinner is a MUST. As their home might suggest, Matt and Whitney go above and beyond as hosts. They made this family vacation special for us in every possible way. We cannot wait to return!!!

John & Laurie’s home was warm and inviting for our group’s New Years holiday. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and a well stocked kitchen. We weren’t able to make use of the lake because it was January but enjoyed walks around the property and the incredible bird sightings ! Bedrooms were cozy and the home is clean and well sized for a big group. Thanks so much !

This place is even better than the photos! Wow. It felt luxurious. Such a beautiful home. I loved all the snacks Deborah left us and the thoughtful touches (chocolates and water bottles next to the bed). So incredibly kind and very appreciated. This is definitely the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. One “tip,” if you are someone who is used to sleeping in a dark room, then bring an eye mask because the primary bedroom has the most gorgeous window behind the bed and two magnificent skylights above the bed, but there aren’t blinds/shades. So the room is very bright. I would definitely love to go back (and bring my eye mask). Haha. Everything is so nice, the place is SPOTLESS, and the home feels very “new.” I just loved it. Also, Deborah has the NBA channel, which my son is obsessed with watching. This is just the best house - beautiful and pristine, yet cozy. Way nicer than most hotels. I loved the house so much! I loved the shampoo, the fluffy robes, the kids toys, everything!

We loved the place! My fiancé, Gloria and I wanted a little get away for the weekend for her birthday. This place was perfect. 1-2hours drive from the city. The lake was amazing and it was very private. We had a great time. We did canoeing too. It was fun! We hope to be back again in the future. Thank you, Robin!
