Guesthouse holiday rentals in Durham County

This place was peaceful and easy to travel in and out of for us to visit relatives in the area. The hosts were very responsive and provided recommendations in the area. It was also nice seeing their horse and chickens.

Such a nice little space and easy to access. We stayed here to run errands a few days before our wedding and it was perfect. They even allowed a late check out to help us out! Was bigger than expected.

It was a lovely and peaceful location, especially as a quiet retreat to get work done. Also had no idea that Carrboro was such a great town.

Marianne’s spot was super accessible, super cozy, and super accommodating. Marianne herself was wonderful and greeted us as we arrived. It was our first time staying at a bnb where the host was attached to the space but it was a wonderful stay and we’d totally stay again next time we’re in the triangle. Very solid if you need a chill little overnight.

I had a wonderful stay at Mary's guesthouse! The space was clean, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of appliances, pans, tools etc. which made cooking easy. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Mary's gardens made for a peaceful and relaxing setting. The location is in a quiet rural area, however it's conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and centrally located to Durham, Hillsborough, and Roxboro. Mary was an exceptional host — warm, friendly, and very accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed and was always available if I had any questions. I highly recommend Mary's guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene place to stay.

Loved staying at Donna’s. Appreciated her communication and the little amenities, ie a Diet Coke in the fridge when we arrived. Loved the getaway!

This home was lovely and peaceful to stay in for my girls weekend. it was clean, sheets and linens smelled freshly washed, everything was tidy and made sense. Check-in and check-out were both easy with clear instructions, and Oscar was responsive to the couple questions I asked prior to our trip! Overall this home was a wonderful place to stay and rest with friends!

the bedding and the hot tub were the highlights for me in this cute and cozy older neighborhood. Even seeing the older cars and older homes in the area, this place was freshly remodeled inside and out and I felt safe! thanks again! there is no microwave, fyi.

This little cottage was adorable. We were in town for our grandson's graduation. It was a perfect location at only 1.2 miles from our daughter's house. The home had everything we needed for our 1 week stay . The side porch has a beautiful jasmine archway. They were in bloom and smelled wonderful. We even had a wonderful firefly show one evening. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a quick trip to Raleigh and were able to relax at William's place in North Hills. Great location to everything Raleigh has to offer. Spacious with beautiful furnishings, clean and well appointed. The king bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens and thick, soft towels. Nice outdoor tables and chairs on the large patio to enjoy in the backyard. I highly recommend when you're in the area.

This place was just perfection! The amount of intention the hosts put into detail is amazing! I love wellness and this place had so many touches towards that. Felt so much peace! Thank you!

We keep coming back to Cari’s place whenever we’re in Raleigh. It’s become our home away from home. Cari consistently makes it very comfortable to stay here.

The cottage was warm and welcoming. Everything was in order and very clean. Taylor was available via texting for any questions I had. It was on close proximity to my son’s house. We were able to get around town for coffee and bagels and the big event, my grandson’s graduation. Thank you!

We loved our stay! We spent a few days in Raleigh and loved coming back to this space! Gretchen and Jayci were very friendly and responded to messages quickly. We felt very welcomed in their guest space!

The apartment was perfect for my needs. Close drive to everything but still quiet and private. It’s actually quite large with TONS of storage space! Jamie and Joe (the hosts) were really responsive at every aspect of my stay, even after I left. One of the highlights was the trail around their horse farm-so fun to walk my dog there daily and see the beautiful horses!

Aaron’s place was perfect for my us. Great walking near Duke’s east campus, great neighborhood and a very comfortable place. Aaron was super quick to respond to our questions.

My stay here was everything I could have hoped for. The location near my Durham go-to restaurant (Little Bull) alone gets this place 4 stars. Add in the Dwell Magazine factor and quiet convenience of the location and I’ll be clamoring to stay here again. The added plus was I’ve yet to stay in a more meticulously clean and tidy airbnb. This Durham gem epitomizes why staying in an airbnb trumps a hotel any day of the week.

This was perfect for my needs. I was isolating after traveling to avoid bringing any COVID exposure home. The apartment was perfect with the small kitchen and bathroom. I especially appreciated the stocked fridge!

Excellent airbnb and hosts! We were in town for a wedding and they made the experience so easy. The house is exactly as the pictures show it and everything was spotless!

Betsy’s place was lovely! I walked to work everyday and overall had the loveliest time.

We loved Allison’s guesthouse. It had everything we needed for a great stay, looked like the pictures, very clean, super easy check in, and the location was top notch! We were minutes from shops and restaurants, as well as the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, which was a highlight. We were also very close to the wonderful Durham farmers market. Definitely a must visit if you like local farmer’s markets! Our hosts were super responsive and even had an info sheet in the guesthouse upon our arrival. We definitely recommend Allison’s guesthouse when in Durham! 5 stars! And be sure to visit Foster’s Market for breakfast during your stay. We loved it!

This was our second stay at Matthew's place and we love it. So comfy and cozy, with treetop views all around. And very conveniently located close to Duke's campuses and downtown Durham. Matthew is super responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
